And he alludes to the "dead time" I mentioned a few days ago. The shock needs some time to work through the system, until everybody can see it. But then it's too late - like in that avalanche video.
And I agree with him about preparedness. Material preparation is IMHO the smaller part. Preparing mentally and forming local communities is more important.
In Europe, you can spot the future enemy from more than 100 yards away. OTOH we have very few firearms here.

According to Russian news sites, the Houthis have joined the fray, and again attacked Israel. But worse, they had promised to block the Bab el-Mandeb strait in this case.
The USadmin plans to get the Saudi gov't to clear away the Houthis before isreal attacks Iran has failed bigtime. Now they are down a carrier and lots of bases in the region and have nowhere to land troops or aircraft without refuelers. The USadmin lost a few of them too.
Let's hope the USadmin likes humble pie.
