A stunning electoral victory for Trump indeed marks the most amazing political comeback in American history. Amid all the tears of Never-Trumpers, liberal-left ideologues, and NATO boomers, resounding vindication for the multiple millions of courageous dissidents who were mocked, cancelled, bullied and sometimes jailed by agents of a regime which should now rightfully be consigned to history.

Will they go away quietly though? A peaceful transition of power seems set to take place, but the high expectations set by Trump's team of 'Avengers' seems impossible to fulfill in the face of generational, fossilized, institutional power held by many who will likely refuse to obey orders from someone they see as "literally Hitler."

How can Trump get around this to act on his mandate? Will the 'fifth column' in the American empire wreck his plans with more obstacles like Covid-19 and BLM riots in 2020? Only this time, will the crises they provoke be even more destabilizing to global civilization?

Open war on the deep state - about bloody time, too. I'm sure it will get bloody , very bloody before it's all over - if ever. It's been around so long, and is so deeply entrenched, like a malignant cancer, that it won't be removed easily.

As long as there are dishonest, deceitful and corrupt people, there will be a deep state - the question is more about constricting its power than killing it off altogether.

Them blue states are half and half, really. A million to each side in the state? If the votes were counted properly they'd be red, some of them surely.

But if you have 2% of a million being violent agitators, that's all you need to have the decent hormonal folks in the media decrying totalitarianism . It won't be fun, but they'll probably force just that to happen, the blame here falling on the deep state.

One thing nobody has noticed is that the democrats have taken over the "republican party." It is more like the RINO party at this point. There are 1980's Democrats (formerly the republicans), and their now abandoned degenerate house party-party (formerly the democrats). The republican party is dead. They just cleverly moved the Overton Window.

Abolish the Dept of Education and the Federalization of education. The states become responsible for that which they were always responsible.

His choice for head of the EPA, Lee Zeldin.

His choice for CIA director, Kash Patel. In interviews, Kash says he will establish an office of disclosure.

His choice for Dept of Defense, Pete Hegseth.

New Department of Government Efficiency - where did those trillions go.

Dwoods44 Yes, we'll see. Republicans have full control over the government at this point, don't they? We'll finally be able to clearly judge them by their fruit, since they have no significant opposition in government. If the country doesn't get better, it's because they don't want it too.

From where I sit, it looks like "his excellency, Netanyahu," and his war with Iran (and Islam in general) is dictating American policy, and this version of Trump is a war president building a war cabinet. I expect pogroms, war, a drastically expanding police state, and the best TV, movies, and entertainment (propaganda) we've seen in at least 20 years. Quality propaganda will drive the bus that the liberals, Europe, and oil bearing countries are about to get thrown under.
