Chinese premier visits Russia to discuss partnership and 'sign documents expanding cooperation'

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said here on Tuesday that his visit to Russia is aimed at implementing the consensus reached by the two heads of state, carrying forward the enduring friendship from generation to generation, and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.

Li made the remarks in a statement released upon arrival. Li arrived here to chair the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government and visit Russia at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Tuesday arrived in Russia's capital Moscow on a three-day official visit.

The Russian state news agency TASS reported Li's arrival at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, where he was greeted by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and other officials from both countries.

The report further said both sides are expected to discuss prospects for developing and expanding their partnership and cooperation, as well as sign several documents.

It also said Li is expected to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin and President Vladimir Putin.

On Monday, China announced that Li will travel to Moscow to preside over the 29th regular meeting between the Chinese and Russian heads of government.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Voice of America reports that Li is also due to visit ally of both nations, Belarus.

One assumes that more detail about these evidently important documents will be released in the coming days. However, given West-Israel's escalations on the world stage, one would guess that at least some of them will relate to the support the multinodal powers will be providing to their allies.
