Through this I had a conversation with my mom explaining about my dads health, where she just happen to casually mention that while he was eating a bunch of ding dongs, ho hos, sweets in general, he was growing concerned with how he was becoming blind(in his left eye). I almost wanted to drop the phone, now my dad who is 6ft tall, weighs almost nothing most of my life, except for now a left over beer belly, was experiencing odd things after eating junk food. I was curious, and thats when I found this article, and it finally started to come together. Either sugar, processed junk, or fast food was most definitely the cause of mine and my fathers woes. Since then, every time I pick up a coke, or eat anything besides a grilled chicken something or other, or salad, at a fast food establishment, my eyes become blurry and I have to keep rubbing them through the day. Not to mention the toll it takes on what was once my legs, now became my knee as well. I am convinced to this point. There is a direct correlation to our gut health and these health issues and complications. Before you make hasty judgements and say "well, duh is she dumb?" I had to find out for myself. I did my research, my experiments, and thus came to my own conclusions. Which is a common problem in our society. Everyone just follows the herd mentality. Since eliminating 70% of the junk diet I use to have, and also taking a Probiotic, and turning my gut flora around, I have noticed drastic changes and couldn't be happier. I went from having bronchitis at least 2 times a year and being sick with some form of stomach bug a lot, to now I don't become ill at all. Looking at those around me, I see it everywhere now. I see the things they buy one minute, then the medicines the next. I try to pass on my information to better arm the public against this internal fight that I am fully aware of. Some listen, most think I'm insane and assume I'm VEGAN. LMAO. Sorry for any typos, I didn't use much time to edit as I was typing fast and had to get my little girl to the bus stop.
