According to the figures from 2011, then China has 33.542.000 hectares with corn. To put this in perspective then the army worm affects 1% of all hectares with corn. And the effect will be around 0.5% of the total harvest. This is very bad for the farmers affected by that alone is not going to see China starve to death. There are however other things that will effect the harvest such as massive flooding and that is likely to much bigger than the effect from the army worm.
