FSA and YPG forces
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), notorious for their military wing YPG that is said to be involved in ethnic cleansing, are now blackmailing the authorities in Syria by blocking the water to more than 1 million residents of Aleppo, Syrian government sources confirmed.

The water blockade occurred on Monday after SDF halted the flow of water, that originates from the Euphrates Dam before being further delivered into Khafsa Pumps.

As a result, more than 1 million people in Aleppo city alone currently have no access to water.

Although SDF did not explicitly say why the sudden move, it is assumed to be related to the recent tensions between the YPG and the Syrian Army, after the latter started to make major progress against ISIS in the western countryside of Raqqah province.

Displeased with the Syrian Army's recent efforts against ISIS in Raqqah, the US Air Force decided to shoot down the Syrian military jet that was conducting anti-ISIS raids near the town of Rusafah, claiming it flew "too close" to the SDF-occupied areas.

Although the pilot of a jet s is said to be alive and well, he is reportedly being imprisoned by the SDF separatists as his parachute landed in the area, currently occupied by SDF.

His exact fate remains unknown.
