Millennials aren't the first to 'earn' less than their parents... there has been a downward slide in wealth since the late 70's!! There was a minor boom in the early 80's but not everyone got to ride that very limited gravy train, otherwise, due to stagnant wages and inflation, the wealth disparity started JUST before MY 'Generation X'. Millennials do seem to be pretty fukced, but don't sit there and act like it's just starting now for crying out loud... I knew in High School I was never going to be able to afford my own house in the city I grew up in. Back then, average house prices were about $250-$300 K, now thirty years on? The 'average' here is pushing ONE MILLION!! Can you honestly say salaries have quadrupled in that time? Get fukcing REAL here and talk about reality, not this bee ess of 'Well, the current gen is finally losing ground'... it's been going on a loooong time now!
