UFO enthusiast, Steven Barone uploaded the video to his YouTube channel, which features dozens of videos of 'aliens'.
"I saw where the UFO came from and caught it in the air just before it began to descend and eventually land," he captioned the video. "It lurked in the darkness at the base of the mountain and eventually showed itself again briefly. "I saw it for a second or two more back in the same spot it landed and then it disappeared. Amazing."
Even though the video has only been on YouTube for nine days, it's already racked up over 30,000 views. Dozens of internet users have debated what the mysterious light might be. One commenter wasn't surprised by the footage. "Very good capture... I have also been seeing and filming unusual objects here in Vegas valley," they wrote. Others claimed that the lights could be drones or planes from a nearby military base.
It's not the first bizarre extraterrestrial occurrence to happen this month. Just two days ago, a black 'UFO' was spotted hovering over an airport in London.
Not everyone was convinced that the strange footage was proof of alien life. Commenters remarked that the space ship was more likely to be a "balloon", "bird" or "black bin bag"
