Some folks did, and viewers sent us in pictures of a string of lights in the sky near Buckeye.
So far no one is sure what those mysterious lights are, but some think they are military flares.
We checked with Luke Air Force Base but were told the base is not holding any training exercises.
One local storm chaser, Brian Snider, said he saw the lights last night about 10 miles east of Gila Bend, looking south "over the Barry Goldwater Range."
He said there was clearly smoke coming out of them as they floated down, so it's possible they were military flares.
Perhaps this is an attempt to debunk that famous sighting from a few years back. I believe that it was in relatively the same location.
