Raw video of something in the sky over Stockholm, Sweden! (Ball of fire? Jet stream?) Will update with more information if it becomes available. Video taken on 2015-12-14 in Stockholm, Sweden. *** Excuse the shakiness of the video, I was not expecting to see this 'fireball' at all and was quite taken by surprise! *** ((UPDATE: Object may have been part of the 'Geminids' meteor shower, more info at this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geminids Still no verification of what was in the area at that time, will continue to update if more info becomes available. Very incredible to see LIVE! : )

That is moving very slowly. Cannot be a bolide. Might be space junk.

You're wrong. The plume indicates very high electrical stress (because low speed cannot explain disintegrating), so the object must be from deep space. It is the EM forces that could slow down the bolide, or it just was passing the Earth by, and gravitational forces pulled it to Earth slowing it down in first place.

Not a boloid . . .?

I've seen this once before from this angle but much closer. It was a boloide according to the scientific papers that were issued later. Perhaps it is slow because it is actually so far away? Great sighting. People must have been excited. I see in the articles accompanying this post that there were a few more of these occurrences in the last couple of days.

the object is clearly within the atmosphere, leaving a condensation trail, with the sun reflection appearing as flames.
