In a news release, the medical center says it was determined that isolation of the patient was appropriate. Because of the lockdown, other patients and visitors were contained until additional testing could be completed.
To assure that there was no risk to the community, the medical center says it worked closely with local and state health officials and the Center for Disease Control.
CDC Spokeswoman Bernadette Burden confirmed to WKYT the center received a call from the Kentucky State Health Department about the patient on Saturday.
The hospital started releasing patients and staff who did not have direct contact with the patient, out of the emergency room around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Incoming patients were diverted to area hospitals.

It's going to come out the person was vaccinated against chicken pox. He was probably shedding the virus as indicated on the insert.

These tactic by hospitals and other authorities ( I use the term loosely) are overt opportunities to ratch up the fear of childhood illnesses and demonstrate to the public that childhood illnesses are something to fear so go get your damn shot as Dr. Nancy Snyderman tells people.
Earlier this year while the Measles False Flag was in full swing Birmingham School system in Michigan had 3 cases of chicken pox and they made every unvaccinated child stay home until the "crisis" was passed. None of the unvaccinated children were infected and the children who were attended 3 different schools in the city. There was only one article I could find on this and no follow ups so I'm pretty sure the children that became infected were infected by the vaccine itself. The articles never disclosed if the children had been vaccinated in the 6 weeks prior to their infection which within the time frame for infection to occur.
If the hospital wanted to know where & how this man was infected, do a PCR test. It's reveals the DNA of the viral component and can reveal if its' a vaccine strain or wild. Hard for any childhood illness to be wild now days as the mutated vaccines strains have taken over and become more virulent that the wild ones.

Adult chicken pox just like kiddie chicken pox spreads by touch. Why not isolate the person and make sure attending staff take normal precautions? What's next - Old Man Stinky comes into the ER with shingles and they shut down the city?
