"Whatever powers are behind this assault, they have exerted an effort to sow seeds of a new cultural conflict," Davutoglu was quoted as saying by the agency Thursday.
The foreign minister added that the Turkish people have to proclaim their "Muslim-Turkish identity without any hesitation" if they face Islamophobic reaction following the terror attack in Paris.
"It is high time for us as Muslim Turks to walk with our heads held high against all radicalism and rising Islamophobic attacks," Davutoglu said speaking at the Seventh Ambassadors Conference in Ankara.
He also urged Turkish ambassadors participating in the conference to resist the rise of anti-Turkey and anti-Islam propaganda.
The Wednesday attack on the magazine Charlie Hebdo by alleged Islamic extremists claimed the lives of 12 people and injured a further 11. The magazine previously received threats from Islamists for publishing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. Charlie Hebdo also posted a caricature of the leader of the Islamic State insurgent group on its Twitter account shortly before the attack.
Comment: With this latest shooting spree the West was reminded that "Muslims = terrorists." Many were caught up in the wave of identifying Charlie Hebdo's bigoted caricature of Muslims with their "freedom of speech". This wave of propaganda, ranging from mainstream media to the #IamCharlie Twitter campaign that spread it, effectively stamped the public mind with the Zionist caricature of Muslims which has been used to fuel the "War on Terror" from the beginning. As long as good people remain silent these murderous lies will continue unchallenged.

The conclusion presented to the audience being the death of two young men went to script. The only evidence we have it was them was provided by the chief suspects. Masked men commit the shooting and we have evidence provided by the careless or perhaps careful leaving of an ID card in a car. Maybe these men were kidnapped prior to the shootings and had nothing to do with it? They are of course unable to provide any evidence now...
I have to say I am largely ignorant of what evidence the media has provided so far. I am just so cynical about anything the media churns out these days so I automatically look for alternative explanations.
It is usually the case in the event of a set up the real villains make lots of mistakes. If so these mistakes will become apparent in the alternative media as the days unfold.
A deputy from Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has claimed that the deadly Jan. 7 Charlie Hebdo attack was “staged like a movie scene.”
Ali Şahin, a member of Parliament representing the southeastern Turkish province of Gaziantep, sent a series of tweets on Jan. 8 saying the lack of traffic in the Paris street during the attack was “thought-provoking” and that it seemed “as if it was a movie scene.”
The Turkish deputy also claimed that the “God is great” rallying cry of the assailants was “a fabricated mise-en-page [layout],” apparently mixing the French word with “mise-en-scene.”
“The moment that [the assailant] left the vehicle and fired on the policeman who was lying is also thought-provoking. The direction that the gun was pointed at and fired is not the policeman. It targets to the front of him. There is no blood. The camera stops filming after the terrorists shot the police and left,” Şahin further stated.
Şahin’s views have been slammed on Turkish social media with several users describing them as “a conspiracy theory.”

A fascinating individual. Perhaps an embodiment of the Ottomans. He plays all sides very well but he can only do that for so long. I admire his defence of Islam but he has helped Wahabbi Muslim kill both Sunni and Shia Muslim, so I must conclude that his motives are suspect and perhaps self serving. Other than that I think his antics are a real hoot!
