It's about perception management of our world. How our view of the world and perception of the world is created by mass media. How many politicians have PR companies managing the image they portray to the public or events where they want public opinion swayed. False flags come to mind.
Every night people all over the world tune in to watch the news, but it's not really news. In the space of 30 mins we are subjected to a few minutes of sound bites by talking heads and so called experts swaying our emotions all over the place.
In those thirty minutes the average viewer may go through a plethora of emotions, righteous indignation, disbelief, horror, sadness, joy you name it.
All to manipulate the thinking and emotions of the viewer. Is it any wonder the "News" is considered entertainment. And of course at the end of the show there is usually some feel good factor to lift up the audience, some amusing whacky act by an adorable pet, some miraculous act of survival or someone that's fought the system and come out on top.
All the horrors are forgotten and you can carry on about your usual activities, because, you can thank god it didn't happen to you and everything is right in your world, all those nasty things happened to some one else or someone "over there" and those nice smiling leaders on TV would never do anything to cause harm to "us" or tell lies, that only happens to bad people who elect bad leaders.
What was it Shakespeare wrote, all the worlds a stage.........etc.
