Cops! Do we need police? If the police problem does not go away then perhaps our societies are ready for self-enforcement.
Having a large, uncontrollable police force has been brought about by too much government spending and too little civilian input. As towns and cities in the U.S. go broke and public employees (cops) move away (hopefully) to larger centers, perhaps we will see a return to a more peaceful, citizen-centered and justice oriented set of rules and enforcement.
