It's difficult (in a face-palm kind of way) to listen to people, even well-informed educated people and 'experts', opine on global politics when they are clearly ignorant of (or studiously ignore) this most important fact. There is no 'democracy' in this world, and there has not been for, oh... forever. Western populations are so damn dumbed down and dissociated that they actually can't figure out that nothing of any significance changes with a change of government, despite all the evidence before them. In fact, it's worse than that, things do change, but for the worse from the point of view of the average citizen. Who will argue that Western warmongering and the divide between rich and poor has increased dramatically over the past 40 years? How many administrations does that period comprise, about 10? Democrat, Republican, Democrat, Republican... Whoopee frickin' doo. In the UK, it's Conservative, Labour, Conservative, Labour... In both countries, the supposedly 'bleeding-heart lefty' Democrat and Labour governments fronted by Tony Blair and then Obama actually out-warmongered their supposedly traditionally uber-warmongering opposition parties.
How do you explain that? Easy. There is no difference between them because neither of them, as parties or Presidents or Prime Ministers, actually control anything of any significance. Someone else does.
Tell me this; when Obama says that he took action based on "intelligence", where do you think he got that "intelligence" from? Ok, you can figure that one out. But then tell me this; are you willing to bet that, since the intelligence agencies are the ones who actually "collect" the information that is used to develop and implement government policy, that they don't see themselves as the real "deciders" in the USA? More to the point, are you willing to bet that they don't just pull the intelligence out of their asses (metaphorically) in order to promote a particular government policy, like invading and occupying a supposedly sovereign nation, for example? You know where the safe money lies, I presume.
Getting back to Putin, and Ukraine specifically, the current ongoing "Russia's going to invade Ukraine" situation is simultaneously laughable and disgusting. Poroshenko and his 'advisors' are desperately trying to demonize Putin and Russia to the entire world, going so far as to blatantly fabricate the "destruction of a column of Russian military vehicles that entered Ukraine" in an effort to smear Russia. To some extent, the Russophobia of Poroshenko and his Nazi-minded minions is understandable: to them, Putin really did organise the 'repatriation' of Crimea, a part of Ukraine as they see it, and he did it in such a way as to leave Kiev with no means to remedy the situation short of manipulating NATO into bombing Russia. So even if some may see Putin's Crimea maneuver as justified, it's hard for Poroshenko and Co. to accept it, and as I said, their anger is understandable - after all, land, and the expropriation of it, has been the primary source of genuine conflict throughout human history.
That said, in the case of Crimea, there is very little of the usual dynamics that historically provokes civil war, in particular, no one actually living on the land in question was dispossessed of it, and most of those still on it, now as part of the Russian Federation, are happy to be there. So I have some sympathy, if not support, for Kiev's hatred of Putin and Russia as 'evil incarnate', even if they are wrong and, in effect, are themselves entirely responsible for the secession of Crimea due to their selfish and racist ideology. The same understanding however cannot be extended to the US military and political advisers who got the ball rolling in Ukraine earlier this year with their farcical coup. These psychos in suits and stripes are 'merely' pursuing their 20 year long unjustified and pathological attack on Russia's attempt to take its rightful place as a major world nation, and they are coldly and ruthlessly exploiting Ukrainians to do so.
Oh, and by the way, in case you missed it. The same Right Sector 'Maidan' thugs who played the part of foot soldiers in the April coup in Kiev were recently involved in forcibly evicting activists who are still in the square in Kiev. What are activists still doing in the 'Maidan', you may ask? Oh, not much, just waiting for the reforms that supposedly sparked the protests to begin with. Yes indeed, the end result of all that chaos and bloodshed earlier this year in Kiev was the illegal booting of Victor "I'm not so sure about NATO and the EU" Yanukovych, and the shunting-in of Petro "I Love NATO" Poroshenko. All of the social and political changes that the majority of protestors actually took to the streets to achieve? DUH!!
But I digress. The really ridiculous thing about the hysterical caterwauling about Putin and East Ukraine is that, in terms of the unofficial rules of the game of international geopolitics, as 'written' by the West, Russia is fully entitled to send weapons, intelligence info and supplies to the separatists in East Ukraine under the aegis of "protecting Russia's interests". In fact, Russia has a lot of catching up to do if it is to ever come close to the level of US and Western 'meddling' in other nations. In fact, I don't think Russia could ever do so, because the US and Western European nations have been meddling in the affairs of other nations for centuries, and in nations in which they had and have no obvious interest, save the "interest" declared by all pathological regimes aspiring to global hegemony.
The only interest that Russia has been attempting to protect is their very justified strategic interest in their own back yard, involving millions of ethnic and Christian Russians no less! By modern standards, that's about as justified as it gets when it comes to "meddling in the affairs of another state". Does anyone think that the US would think twice about invading Mexico if several million US citizens living there were threatened?
Unlike the US government promising WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) style 'Freedom and Democracy' to far-off lands of dark-skinned Muslims and then instead surprising them with a civil war and disintegration of their country, Russia has shown no intention of forcibly bestowing 'Slavic values' on anyone, and even those that expressly ask for it, like East Ukrainians, are frustrated by the very careful and patient maneuvers of Putin and Co. Yet these obvious facts are obscured and ignored by the West for both cynical political 'anti-Russian' purposes and because most people in the 'West' can't drag their sorry asses out of the Cold War mentality, which in itself was one giant bogus propaganda offensive.

Before ignoring situation in Ukraine it worths to get to know what the situation is. It is war. War with tank attacks, massive rocket and artillery fire, planes and helicopters shot down, etc. It is war of Russia against Ukraine. And the participation of some local Ukrainians on the Russian side changes nothing in that fact. Russia annexed the Ukrainian Crymea the same way as the Trhird Reich got Sudeten in 1938. Before that Russia captured Georgian Abkhazia and South Ossetia. And Putin will not stop until he will not be stopped.
And while you discuss here what's on in Ukraine and what it is all about - the Ukrainians die trying to stop the Russian invasion westwards. I can tell you a mass of details how Putin's plan of step-by-step returning Ukraine under total Russin control looked in action within latest 10 years.
The difference between Ukrianians and the people in the West is that we know what Russia really is - and you are somewhere in pink clouds of that. Nowadays Russia is a big big danger for the world. Putin is "Hitler with a nuclear bomb". And his peope is mad. He made his people mad. My wife is from Russia and after many days of a Skype communications with he Russian relatives and friends she says they've gone mad there in Russia. Everyone I know in Kiev who has relatives or friends in Russia says the same. It is somewhat fantastic what Putin propaganda made with Russian brains but it is what we see there being in a tigh contacts with them.
I am sure the maddness is much worse there than it was in Germany before the WWII. "We'll come to Kiev and we'll kill you all" - there are the things they are writing to Ukrainians at the moment. What can I add to that?

I agree as well Joe. I don't even try to talk to anyone about this issue anymore, or about the israeli palestinian conflict, because the propaganda is so effective on most of the people around me that they will defend everything they are told even when presented with factual information to the contrary.
It has become so ingrained in everyone to just believe what they are told about "over there" while simultaneously bemoaning all the bad things our government and LEOs are doing here... the mental gymnastics it takes to flip through those hoops is baffling to me. especially since they all just seem to effortlessly fall in line with the status quo.
The old bull was watching the herd from a hilltop when he saw the herd begin to stamped. He watched but could not figure out what was going on. He was sure that there was no threat so he continued to watch what was going on.
As he watched, the stampeding herd could not see what was ahead. The first few tried to stop when they saw the cliff ahead but the rest of the herd were blind to the cliff. The whole herd ended up jumping off the cliff to their demise trying to save themselves.
The moral seems to be, avoiding the herd mentality and understanding what is truly going on.
You're right, Joe. Most people are so misled and distracted by the lies put out by the actual powers that be, through the propaganda infrastructure of the mass media, that they don't understand what's happening in the world.
What's happening has been going on for more than a hundred years. It is called "the great game" and it's the struggle to dominate the entire world. Zbigniew Brzezinski is the principal strategist, architect and apologist for the anglo-american and european power elite pursuing world domination and he has written several books, the most influential of which is entitled, "The Grand Chessboard". He is a Bilderberger and hates the Russians with an insanely focused, implacable, white-hot fury.
The great game is about control of resources - primarily energy, metals and food - and it's a zero-sum game that the western elites want to win. The putsch in Ukraine and demonization of Russia are both part of this.
With Japan out of the way after the nuclear "my ass" accident, only the U.S. and Europe have been left to dictate world policy, not to mention that the two clubs are more often than not at each other's throats especially when tensions run high. In case the two "clubs" are in disagreement there's a certain someone (a real person) that plays the role of the referee. Sorry, I got carried away but I thought this was a good opportunity to clarify some aspects of the world's geopolitical agenda. Phew...
What happens when he dies? Rifts.
"The biggest problem in our world today is that the vast - and I mean vast - majority of people have no - again, I mean no - idea of how the world actually works and has been working for centuries (...) I agree entirely.
Maybe they are too lazy to get an insight independently into the world's situation. Or maybe the propaganda has already been irreversibly inculcated in them so they are not just able to think sanely any more...
even like NATO. He is like NATO because he has an interest (usually financial) and at this stage he cannot turn back, even if he wanted...
Articles such as this one restores my confidence in true blooded Americans. It shows we aren't all falling for the bull crap fed to us by our government and the media. You have stated the obvious truth. Keep it up and all of us might finally turn on the light in our brains.
To fully understand what's going on in the foreign policy world, you need to read this book.
"Covert Wars and the Breakaway Civilizations" by Dr. Joseph P. Farrell.
In this book he outlines a "Hidden System of Finance" which funds covert op's etc, and he doesn't mean the US black budget, but something totally different.
"The biggest problem in our world today is that the vast - and I mean vast - majority of people have no - again, I mean no - idea of how the world actually works and has been working for centuries."

The Western world live in an illusion of democracy and freedom and it is not able to see it's own crimes because it's always propagandized and justified in the name of these Western 'values' and the barbarian is always on the other side and just because someone else does not accept the Western 'values' therefore he is a threat to 'freedom and democracy' and who is there to set up these rules? The old world order and the West itself of course
And therefore to get out of this circle the world need a shift and maybe now even more than ever
Yet this one epic tune... [Link]
"The really ridiculous thing about the hysterical caterwauling about Putin and East Ukraine is that, in terms of the unofficial rules of the game of international geopolitics, as 'written' by the West, Russia is fully entitled to send weapons, intelligence info and supplies to the separatists in East Ukraine under the aegis of "protecting Russia's interests"
All the more true that the US send weapons and intelligence not even to protect its legitimate interests but to increase its imperial reach.
In fact they seem to look for and want lies like a body looks for oxygen to breath. It gives me a headache sometimes especially if some of these people are family members.
If it were some border territory of the USA, you think they would sit back and let it happen?
NO- Russia is doing what anyone else would do if someone in their backyard was stirring up crap.
But meanwhile, Russia would not intervene with the neighbors of the USA- as they have been doing to Russia.
Hipocrites!
Everybody think to know from wikipedia that democracy means the power of the people (demos - cratos). Actually it is not the case. The words that are being used "demo" and "cratie" actually not the same as demos-cratos. The real meaning of democracy from latin would be something like "take away the power and put people in (unseen from inside) cages or boxes".
The opposit meaning has been established to achieve this system so far working, because it was created by intelligent people to manipulate the stupid cattle. So the stupid cattle would never see the difference and dream of a "nice" meaning that make believe. Well; tell to the cattle, within this farm you will have all the power that exist (actually all the power that only "within" that farm provided) under your control, you will be so powerfull - others will work for you to achieve new developments, making decisions, providing security.... all is for you! Isnt it nice to be in the farm - where you have all the power? Can you see the eyes of the cattle getting bigger after that glamorous offer!?
Democracy itself was meant to symbolise the Shepherd. Thats why today we still see Jesus with the lambs or the Pope with his stick with a lamb symbol on it. People are really meant to be sheeps from the "owners" perpectives... this is no metaphor - it is the reality. Do sheeps in reality have rights to choose their shepherds? Simply NO!!... So do the people.
Support your local gunfighter (Putin).
That is, until he becomes -uhhh- 'sheriff'.
And how does he become sheriff?
By amassing more guns than anybody else.
So you see, people, we have an 'essential problem'.
Let me know when you've solved it.

You think Russia is even close to what the rest of the "1st world" has?
I think what you described is Israel, NOT Russia.
I have only a sketchy description of that person from a Greek writer (Athanasios Strigas) who used to work for Occidental petroleum . Basically that person is God on planet earth. He's described as an old man living a lonely life, a man that has visited the Aegean sea, that is the sea near where I live. Athanasios Strigas acting as an agent during the nineties went to meet him with a piece of paper that had two names on it. Clinton-George Bush senior. That man erased the name of George Bush senior and handed the paper back to Strigas. We all know what happened next. That's all the info I have.
Much of this is referred to in 'Conversations with The Crow'... who admitted that the Agency killed the first Kennedy... and wanted the story told of how they felt it was the responsible thing to do.... sounds like the typical 'good Amercian', no? Surely, all those Zionists feel the same way? Patriots, heroes and whatnot? Surely they all deserve a Nobel Peace Prize? But then only one is given out each year, and the line of pathologicals waiting in line is longer than most famous nightclubs.
In my way of thinking, all that Joe describes has a crucial event milemarker that came about after the fall of the Soviet Union. The US refused to help the struggling newly-freed Russia, under the pretext of not conforming to human rights principles. Over time, the plan became more clear, and it was the Western Rat gnawing away on multiple federation countries of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
It was an assimilation and plunder cancer.
But something has gone very wrong with thier plans.
The West is starting to groan under the strain of thier excesses.
Putin is not where he is by pure chance, or because he is an intelligence expert. He's there because he is supposed to be, doing what needs to be done in a world gone mostly mad. The West hates him because they cannot corrupt or control him, and he's always way out in front of them, confounding their plans of world domination.
latest, and I believe last, movie, "A Man Most Wanted" is a stunningly good piece of work for several reasons; one of which is its superb portrayal of the West's short-sighted, high-handed and simple-mindedly histrionic ways it does its business. And yes, I meant that double entendre . . .
Hoffman's supremely played character maps very well to Putin and the idiots from the West map very well to, well, the West.
Based on a work by John le Carré, "A Man Most Wanted" is a wonderful, if ultimately disgusting espionage thriller.
A great summary description of what is right in front of our eyes if we just look and question.
But as an example I would like to describe my 15 year old grandson. A bright kid who until recently( last year) was not interested in current events or politics. Then recently I began asking him about issues, GMOs etc. and it became obvious that he had already succumbed to the propaganda and eaten the apple. I had thought that because of my conversations with him over his earlier years, encouraging him to question and not take anyone's word for it, he might have a more critical view of what he was being brainwashed with, but to no avail. He may still see the light but for now he is in the camp of the sheeple with his head down looking at the grass. I am getting a new perspective on people and what it takes to pick up your head and look around at what is really going on. As obvious as it is to those of us that have glimpsed at the larger world, for those that are trapped it is the most obvious and logical. It takes a special spark of curiosity?, or questioning to start your pursuit of the larger world.
There is a video interview from Project Camelot with Kerry Cassidy and Simon Parkes, called 'The measure of a man'. It either, tells you about the bigger picture or muddied the water. What do you believe?

Joe, you are so right on the money. The western intelligentsia's ignorance of the true situation in Ukraine and Putin is truly puzzling. How they can get it so right about Israel and so wrong about Putin and Ukraine is mind-boggling, at least the ones I know.
And some of them even get angry if I offer a dissenting opinion backed up by reason and logic.
I really am left scratching my head.
