Rapid Ice Growth Over The Past Six Days, says Steven Goddard website.

Green shows ice gain since September 18. Red shows ice loss.

Also, see map showing the huge increase in western Arctic ice since this date last year.

Not looking good at all.

It's kicking in real fast. 60% more ice that last summer. This means about 1.5 million square kilometers, and it's growing! There barely were 45 days of above freezing T° (as opposed to the usual 90). So now it's just going to get out of proportion pretty fast, osit. All that extra ice will certainly not melt unless it gets much warmer for the next summer(s) which is something I wouldn't bet on for sure.

I think that this winter is going to be quite interesting. I can't help but to feel helpless. People just aren't seeing that Ice Age coming.

Where'd the heat go?

Space.
As summer reached it's latter part in late August, much of the heat in the Atlantic (what little the Sun output) flowed up to the Arctic. It flowed up there to compensate for the lack of heat (as the DMI 80 N temps indicated) . As fall came, the Sun went down, and the Arctic night saw the heat flow out to cold Space.
It was the perfect timing Kind of like being in the right place at the wrong time.
