"We have about 50% of the world's wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. To do so, we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming; and our attention will have to be concentrated everywhere on our immediate national objectives. We need not deceive ourselves that we can afford today the luxury of altruism and world-benefaction."

...but not spiders, see the legs? They are walking, not fall like you says, probably strolling on a web, best stick to the facts rather than fanciful imaginings comment?
Look out for the flying Squid...

nature never ceases to amaze
The camera work in this video is what frustrates me about this story. Zoom in, out, in, out, in, out... Yes, we can see they are spiders and they are walking on something. It would be nice to see a bit about the surroundings and get some idea of spacial orientation. The constant in out, sideways and looking at the sky most of the time doesn't do well to capture the experience. Are they in a car, in a house, in a field, its hard to tell much about the surroundings with some drunk dude operating a cell phone using a video capture device for his first time.
