The first of the recent Texan series of sightings happened on Tuesday (July 24) at about 10:00 pm. The witness reported seeing the same kind of unidentified aircraft in the past.
"This is exactly the same craft I reported earlier this year... It moves very slowly, but this time it was directly above me and did emit a very low rumble that I did not hear the last time I saw it," the witness reported, adding there was "no other aircraft in the immediate area this time and the ruby red light in center mass which I saw last time was not on (or visible)."
By midnight, another report came from the nearby Denton country at about 12:30 a.m. The witness was stargazing when what appeared to be a triangle-shaped aircraft was spotted.
"At first I thought it was a satellite, but noticed that it wasn't conventional moving across the sky. Instead it was creating hovering-like motions as well as moving back and forth and even covering up other stars in the night sky," the witness said.
Earlier at about 10:35 p.m. another Denton county witness described a UFO sighting:
"Triangle shape [sic], hovering and then moving in fast random motions and slow motions... Seems to have 'headlight' at the top of triangle and at one point glowed orange and 'shot out' beams of red."
The same witness reported back at 1:20 a.m. (July 26):
"I can still see the object but, it has 'calmed' going much slower, no fast movements and seems to be getting farther away."
Aside from the two reported sightings of a triangular UFO, another Denton County witness reported at about 5:00 p.m. (July 25) a disc-shaped UFO sighting.
"I noticed it was traveling at a slow speed and there was no sound, and no apparent appendages (wings etc.) It was silver/gray in color. There was no light reflection from the sun making it glow or shine. It was a typical disc-like shaped object, flat and long. No other aircraft were visible from my vantage point when I first spotted the anomaly," the witness reported.

More UFO studies sought
Ufology Research, the organization that has recorded UFO sightings in Canada since 1989, has recently expressed that it is seeking more studies into unusual aircraft sightings. The organization reported 986 UFO sightings in Canada in 2011. Eleven percent of those sightings could not be explained.
