Amazing find (History Chanel docum.) in what is now Turkey, 12,000 year-old circular city. Twice as old as any city in Mesopotamia. The Germans are excavating it.

No stone-cutting tools used.

I've seen this before.

Almost all the "researchers" used for this segment, and I think this History Channel show, are New Age types.

But I don't mean that as any kind of an insult.

The message I get is that they are the only ones interested in solving this. The Germans could dig a lot faster than - what was it? - a few meters uncovered in 13 years, if they had a little more desire to learn the truth.

The problem with this site is that it raises the whole question of the Atlantis legend and everything that implies.

Many current theorists see the end of the last Ice Age as the point at which the earth was overrun by an invader race of hostile, or at least manipulative, intent. However that may be, the current authorities do not want us to learn the truth of what happened during those times. If they wanted us to know, they could probably just tell us themselves. At least some of them could.

And don't forget that massive Pyramid found under 5,000 to 7,000 year old dirt in Visoko, Bosnia. Called the Garut Pyramid, it is visible in Google Maps satellite view.

The National Geo article

on Golbekli Tepe emphasized the building of stone stele had something to do with religion because of the 'sacrifice' of animals. The history is that it was built by people who did not live on the plain, had no evident access to water or food, although entire antelopes were brought in somehow. The religious aspect is always evident in the later part of the steles history; previous generations who built it are gone and it acquires a veneration of its own because none like it are being built. That is circular reasoning. The truth of who built Gobleki Tepe is gone but the fact that it was built indicates a necessary effort. I suggest that its purpose was to attract lightening. For all who study history this electrical attraction (due to depletion) is evident.

why refrence the bible??

Ridiculous: comparing a fact to a story! why is the bible taken as a fact in this? The bible is made up, completely. it's twisted older stories, not a document of history!! Totaly distracts from the pertinent facts.It has NOTHING to do with this story!
