Well, the scrutiny and the criticism is about to get a lot more intense, I suspect. These nutjobs claim that a person who takes Vitamin C for a cold are "cultic." Diets undertaken for health reasons or taking of supplements is "cultic". All alternative health systems are "cultic". In fact, everything EXCEPT the Holy Roman Catholic Church is a "cult" and dangerous to boot!

There is a funny kind of honesty in France.
What other government would think of creating a "mission" to locate, expose and marginalize "odd" groups? What other society has an official academic organization (L'Académie française) that oversees the "purity" of its own language? What other country revolted against the tyranny of royalty then immediately replaced it with the tyranny of a soldier-emperor?

We could probably learn a lot about life by studying France more carefully.
More recently, we have that IMF guy getting "caught' harassing a maid in New York, while people in similar positions in France talk about how that sort of behavior isn't really that bad. Their corruption is right up there close to the surface. In some ways, it's kind of refreshing.

Obvious cult is obvious
These guys themselves are an obvious cult, with freaky people at the helm, focusing on children, imposing their own belief system upon others, while maintaining secrecy about their activities. It is exactly like the Inquisition, who were a bunch of psychos that have wreaked untold havoc onto the world which we are still recovering from..

It is really easy to see how what these idiots are doing is the same thing as what they are accusing others of doing. THEY are the cultists! They are demanding that everyone think the same as they do, they are demanding that everyone worship the same way that they do, and they use force to keep people doing just that.

Where ever pathological individual is leading things either in corporations or government , the end result is same. Lies, abuse and total destruction. No amount of truth can dissuade the situation except with stick.

pjms9 corporations and government are creations of psychopaths and therefore can only operate this way. "The movie Corporation" has some clues in it.

Perhaps these are representative of the pigs in George Orwell's Animal Farm?
They've already banned moslem women from wearing the veil, for heavens sake! Religious persecution seems to be right up their street. I hope they don't mind the ensuing scrutiny.
