The 200-kg beautifully ornamented anchors have two holes in them - one for the anchor rope and another one for a wooden stick. They were used for 150-200-ton ships that transported mainly wheat, but also dried and salted fish, skins, timber and metals from what now is Bulgaria's coast.
The anchors' shape suggests they were used by Creto-Mycanaean, Phoenician or Carian sailors in the 15th-12th centuries BC, which would refute the hypothesis that Greeks were the first Black Sea sailors starting the 12th century BC, the BGNES news agency points out.
The anchors are also said to show that the Trojan war may have started because of excise duties imposed by the Trojans, who took advantage of their control over the Dardanelles - and not because of Helen of Troj.
Last summer's remarkable archeological discovery of what is believed to be St. John the Baptist's relics in Sozopol has attracted huge interest towards the town as a historical center of the country.
Let us take a trip...back to the time of the so-called "Trojan War."
First, this from the article:
"The anchors' shape suggests they were used by Creto-Mycanaean, Phoenician or Carian sailors in the 15th-12th centuries BC, which would refute the hypothesis that Greeks were the first Black Sea sailors starting the 12th century BC, the BGNES news agency points out."
This may indeed be so, however, who were the "Creto-Mycenaean" sailors? Or the "Phoenician sailors"? Well, archaeological FACTS tell us that in Mycenaean remains, there were found cartouches of Amenhotep III and his queen, Tiye. (One of the last great "Solomon" kings and his queen Leah). Please look up "Tomb of Clytemenestra" (No zipperlips, you'll have to do some work, I won't give you all the links or hand it to your lazy ass) to see one of these Mycenaean relics. Yes, that is a pyramid over the entrance. Yes, "Clytemenestra" was HELEN OF TROY'S sister. Yes, "Helen of Troy" was called "The Most Beautiful Women in the World."
The *funny thing* is: So was Amenhotep III's daughter-in-law: Nefertiti.
Okay? Now, try to figure it out...I'll give you a hint: "Helen" is a myth, and on Crete, is a myth of "The Shepherd of Mt. Ida." Who is that? Paris. Yes, THAT Paris...the one the goddesses asked to judge a beauty contest of them. Now...how did the ancients "carry" their gods/goddesses" with them? As STATUES. Ever see any beautiful statues of Helen/Nefertiti???? Ever READ your "Homer"? In the Illiad, it SAYS HELEN WENT TO EGYPT after Troy's fall. That's all farang will give you for now.
Now, back to this nonsense, from article:
"The anchors are also said to show that the Trojan war may have started because of excise duties imposed by the Trojans, who took advantage of their control over the Dardanelles - and not because of Helen of Troj."
WHAT??? WHERE IS IT WRITTEN ON THEM "the anchors are also said to show" ANYTHING???? First off...that tiny 5 acre hilltop was no city, never imposed a tax, excise duties, or anything else: THAT IS A LIE. Made up by the "Chosen One" archaeologist conducting the digging and WITHOUT A SHRED OF EVIDENCE to support that bullshit.
Now for the real: The ORIGINAL tale of "Troy" dates way back to the Indian myth called the "Mahabarada"...and the later version of it relates to the succession battle of the son's of Ramses II after he died.
How they can take this artifact and add all that garbage to it...it totally ignores the real facts that can be gleaned from it...and adds the layers of conventional wisdom bullshit upon it.
REAL FACTS...like the fact there was no kingdom of Israel during the Invasion of the Sea Peoples that the "Trojan War" really relates to...sad.
Sad people CHOSE to be deceived. By the usually suspects.
Here, one last item: Homer supposedly wrote the Illiad. Now, we KNOW from FACTUAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE that "Helen" myth related to Egypt through the tomb of Clytemenstra..... (sex organ of the goddess Estra/Estar/Ester/Istar, the goddess of fertility) ...and what else?
Well...who was Amenhotep III's OFFICIAL SCRIBE and his governor of Tyre (The REAL Troy)? Horem. Who became pharaoh after Tut died (Amenhotep III's grandson or son).
Horem the Scribe....Homer the author...do the math people.
