One fake or real disaster after another maybe? If I wanted to lie about something or someone, and it involved a character, I would make someone up, because they can become anyone I want them to be, and they are not there to discredit the the lie.

USA has claimed there ot be no high-tech equipment in the hideout, yet in photos of the compound, you can see a VSAT antenna.
This antenna was roughly 3 meters in height, just able to be aimed over the compound walls.
Said antenna was aimed towards the mountains, when almost all Pakistani antennas are to be aimed upwards at a 50 degree angle.
This antenna was aimed towards a French military satellite, namely Syracuse 3B.
This would allow for world-wide contact via voice, 64-512 kbs data, or 2-8 mb video streams.

Hi Metro, I don't know enough about this technology to determine if what you say is true or not, but it fits with my idea that the "Osama compound" was actually an ISI (Pakistani intelligence) 'safe house' or base of some sort. Hence the military/intelligence communication satellites.
Based on the details of the house and the people in it, and my understanding of how these things work, I suggest that the people living there were most likely former Islamic militants (and families) who had been captured and 'turned' by the ISI and who were being used as informers, or possibly simply covert (or overt) ISI agents.
The MAIN reason for the CIA/US Military assault on the house therefore may have been for the purpose capturing at least one of these individuals and, most importantly, taking the information they had collected that could have been used to expose the US government and its nefarious plans in the phony 'war on terror'. The murders of those three men and one woman were not necessarily the main objective, the main objective was to steal the information (and perhaps take one or two prisoners).
Alternatively, if there was some link with a French satellite, we could be dealing with "spy vs spy" here. French (and other European) intel could have been in covert communication with Pakistani intelligence and to some extent working against, or trying to keep tabs on CIA operations in the area. The CIA doesn't take kindly to such things and it would not be unusual for them to take such action to deal with it.
It was, in that sense, a standard operation, of the type that has probably occurred often in the past, but we never get to hear about it. The difference in this case is that it was decided that it was time to cash in the political capital that was the 'killing' of Osama bin Laden and this narrative was grafted onto this operation to cover up its real purpose, along with all of the lies which had been several months in the planning most likely. Including that phony picture of Obama, Hilary et al in the 'situation room'.

I thought this was a good summary of the various points of contention surrounding the Bin Laden situation (although to be honest I thought the 'rent-a-crowd' speculation was silly).
I don't believe a single word the government says until they prove it, and their actions regarding the situation are just fanning the flames of conspiracy theory. However, we now have Bin Laden's daughter and wife publicly stating that he was killed in the raid.
The Pakistani man in the video who lived in the village said he had never seen any suspicious movement or anything from the building, but this makes sense in light of the statements of Bin Laden's wife who said he remained in only 2 rooms for five whole years. [Link]
It IS possible that he went unnoticed and under the radar in this place, even with the military outposts nearby. I'm not saying this is what happened, only that it IS possible. There are so many contradicting reports that its really impossible to draw any definite conclusions, in my opinion. One way or another, the US govt is going to have to do something to dispel these vagaries. If they don't, then speculation will continue forever. If they do, then I wonder what state it would leave the world of "truthers" in. It could be a master-stroke to discredit the entire movement...
