We need more of this kind of thinking out there because so many people are falling for the mechanical view of this subject (ETs as third density beings like us driving around between planets in machines that we can copy) and end up missing the boat, the iceberg and just about the whole subject. And uncovering truth in this most slippery of fields is probably the single greatest challenge and key to us ever gaining understanding of the objective reality behind human existence on this planet.
John was a brave and original thinker in a field clogged up with mechanists. He was one of the few to realise that the UFO phenomenon was part of a wider history of paranormal activity literally haunting human civilisation. Personally I prefer the phrase Laura uses – ‘high strangeness’ to hallucinatory. Most people have been conditioned to believe that hallucinogenic experiences are in some way ‘false’ or only a manifestation of the mind’s chemistry. This may in one sense be true – that is the mind is the receiver or decoder of the information which then forms an image inside the mind before seemingly projecting it back out. But that does not make the frequency or wave form of the original information a product of internal delusion. Quite the opposite. Anyone who has studied shamanic processes will learn to understand that the issue of tuning awareness is what we are talking about – rather like the way in which a radio is tuned onto one station’s broadcast and hears only that, but that doesn’t stop the other ‘broadcasts’ being there at the same time, waiting to be tuned into. Clearly the UFO phenomenon involves our capacity as a receiver and tuner. Who knows what we actually see; it all comes down to how our receiver interrupts the information. That is why those who see so called reptilian beings do so – because that is how our receiver decoded the frequency signal that is given out. The same goes for UFOs. Now are we being manipulated to see what the ‘objects’ want us to see? That is the biggest question it seems to me. It is why they ancients talked about shape-shifting and about demons (in the non religious sense). These entities seem to have abilities to manipulate nature on scale we can hardly conceive of. And we have been their toys and play things for millennia beyond count. And at this time, it seems to me, the stakes are particularly high because manipulation of our reality is truly the name of today’s game. That is why we all need to keep our minds open and be most carefully how we judge what we see and hear!
