The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to take Miracle Mineral Solution, an oral liquid solution also known as "Miracle Mineral Supplement" or "MMS." The product, when used as directed, produces an industrial bleach that can cause serious harm to health.
The FDA has received several reports of health injuries from consumers using this product, including severe nausea, vomiting, and life-threatening low blood pressure from dehydration.
Consumers who have MMS should stop using it immediately and throw it away.
MMS is distributed on Internet sites and online auctions by multiple independent distributors. Although the products share the MMS name, the look of the labeling may vary.
The product instructs consumers to mix the 28 percent sodium chlorite solution with an acid such as citrus juice. This mixture produces chlorine dioxide, a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial water treatment. High oral doses of this bleach, such as those recommended in the labeling, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration.
MMS claims to treat multiple unrelated diseases, including HIV, hepatitis, the H1N1 flu virus, common colds, acne, cancer, and other conditions. The FDA is not aware of any research that MMS is effective in treating any of these conditions. MMS also poses a significant health risk to consumers who may choose to use this product for self-treatment instead of seeking FDA-approved treatments for these conditions.
The FDA continues to investigate and may pursue civil or criminal enforcement actions as appropriate to protect the public from this potentially dangerous product.
The FDA advises consumers who have experienced any negative side effects from MMS to consult a health care professional as soon as possible and to discard the product. Consumers and health care professionals should report adverse events to the FDA's MedWatch program at 800-FDA-1088 or online here.

My gut tells me that this is a proxy attack aimed squarely with the intent of destabilizing natural medicine and the power of the people to own their own health and healing.
The fact that many people fell for this MMS snake-oil villainy means that many other people will also fall for the knee-jerk public reaction, that of the continued legal destruction and obfuscation of the non-corporate health and healing community. Remember this recent article (choosing to eat healthy food is now considered a mental disorder)..?

Sadly, the fact that people are able to fall for this kind of tactic DOES directly mean that they aren't discerning and self-aware enough to deal with healing and medicine responsibly. It's a very simple feedback loop; --If you don't stop and think before eating poison, you'll eat poison!
My thinking is that this FDA warning is something that will be declared an outright ban, complete with much ballyhoo from the corporate media ... just about the time Congress is about to vote on some draconian legislation limiting access to supplements and other alternate therapies.
All alternative health will get tarred by the same brush.
I'm a new member and hope this doesn't get me cancelled, but I have been taking and using MMS for years, and it works just like Jim Humble says it does. Flu, colds, parasites, infections.... I have to admit I haven't used it on malaria yet, but I will be visiting the Amazon jungle later this year without fear or taking any crap approved by the FDA. BTW, I have also used colloidal silver for years, and it works too, in spite of what the government says. Both work on animals as well. Go figure.
There are always idiots out there who abuse MMS and have problems, but I just don't happen to be one of them. Like taking it daily for months, or taking exorbitant amounts. If you have a condition that requires long term use, it requires a regimen of anti-oxidants. When a person first starts using it in a cleansing mode of working up to 15 drops a day they may experience some diarrhea, that is just toxins coming out of your system. Just reduce the dose, and then start increasing again after your system has stabilized. Of course, if you are addicted to the typical american corporate crap diet, then almost anything you take that is beneficial is going to cause you problems and probably have you running fearfully for MD help and some more toxic drugs to mask your symptoms.
The FDA has a known history of telling lies (using falsified research) about stuff that works and approving drugs that later are found to have terrible ramifications, like statins. If you have trouble believing this, just google Greg Caton, who was recently illegally kidnapped from Ecuador. His sin, he developed a cure for skin cancer. I have personal acquaintances (not internet shills) who have used his discovery and are now free of medically diagnosed skin cancer. For less than $100. You starting to get the picture? Just research how much is spent annually in the US alone on treating skin cancer. You're damn right they are going to take Caton down, and diss cansema every chance they get.
All I can say is that if you live your life controlled by 'Powerful Presentations' they own you. Personally, I am intelligent enough that I have tried just about everything the government forbids or has declared illegal, and survived it. If you are not smart enough to do that, then sheeple on or else eliminate yourself from the gene pool. When the 55 MPH speed limit was in effect, did you ever drive faster than that? If you did, shame on you!!!
So you can believe what you want, but when the next epidemic comes around or MRSA becomes rampant, I'll trust my MMS and not what the government says. We need to reduce the world population anyway, so its probably a good thing you will refuse to use it. I'll take a two day case of diarrhea over three weeks of flue any day.
How would you react if you suddenly received information which explained clearly and with solid facts that your assessment of Humble's elixir was quite the opposite of what you currently think? I mean, really convincing material you had no choice but to believe? How would your ego respond? Would you feel stupid and used?
Assuming you have those common human reactions built into yourself as most people do, would you say that perhaps those same auto-reactions might be affecting your ability to see this story clearly right at this very moment?
Another question. . .
How can you know that you suffer diarrhea in lieu of flu if you don't get the flu? Who's to say that you would have gotten the flu at all and didn't just needlessly suffer a toxic response to ingesting bleach?
And finally. . , those who talk about eliminating other humans from the gene pool need to stop and REALLY consider what they are saying. Because, I guarantee, somebody out there with real power considers YOU inferior and perfectly expendable.
You get back what you give to this world. Step carefully.
Just some things to ponder, but do as you will. No judgment here. Just gauging.
You said, "We need to reduce the world population anyway, so its probably a good thing you will refuse to use it."
You seem quite emotionally invested in MMS to the point that you feel anyone who isn't interested in taking it is a fool who deserves to die. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't consider taking advice from anyone who feels that way about the general public.
You also said, "I'll take a two day case of diarrhea over three weeks of flue any day."
Do you realize that diarrhea is one of the body's many ways of eliminating toxins? Diarrhea is not a natural state when the body is healthy. Neither is vomiting which is also one of the reactions to taking MMS.
Your entire post reads like an advertisement for MMS. Perhaps you are invested in this product in ways other than emotional as you seem to protest too much?
Did you ever stop to think that you are the part of the population being culled... and MMS is the method?
that it's probably a proxy attack.
And I'm not gonna comment on "We need to reduce the world population anyway", other than - Oh wow. There it is. The Grand Unifier, from the greenest greenie to the energy execs.
that this MMS business is a multi-pronged attack. It is an attack on alternative medicine and health by trying to paint all "non-official," non-approved health approaches as a dangerous hoax which MMS really is. It's quite likely an attack on those looking for alternatives in general to take poison and get very sick or, with some luck for the pathological agenda, die contributing to the "culling of the herd." It's a way of causing further division and in-fighting whether MMS is THE MIRACLE and THE SOLUTION or another threat to humans deployed with that oh so deviant way the Pathocracy operates. Confusion is a great little side effect, as well. The FDA etc. getting in (late though it might be) and telling the truth about MMS. The FDA telling the truth is so unusual that MORE confusion ripples out (with many having yet another knee-jerk reaction that MMS MUST be good if the FDA is against it, etc).
Oh, what a tangled web. And the pathological establishment never lets a good crisis go to waste. Create the problem, offer the "solution" modus operandi as we've seen over and over again, as well.
Another question comes up in Mcalevy's comment: why use MMS INSTEAD of colloidal silver? Colloidal silver has a VERY long proven track record to be safe and effective and has lots of scientific studies to show this fact (though anyone with a bit of a clue should not expect to see these promoted in the mainstream). MMS has NO scientific studies showing beneficial and safe results though Humble has consistently claimed otherwise without backing up his claim. So is this another clue to what agendas MMS serves in relation to all the points raised?
Why use bleach -- which I don't think anyone will deny is a very strong antiseptic, but should be reserved for cleaning your toilet -- to kill microorganisms when there are other proven safe and effective ways to do so, including colloidal silver?
when done properly, read about the latest protocol, MMS is harmless with no side affects. the only side affects are what everyone wants, getting better.
whoever would slam dunk an easy safe way to cure the diseases today is evil. yes many many thaousands of consumers have been curing their diseases for the past 10+ years now.
whoever reads this and has families with disease needs to completely ignore the FDA and realize they are not what they seem to be? using MIRACLE MINERAL SUPPLEMENT is not a miracle, it's just good chemistry. praise YAHUAH for this cure all mineral. blessings to all ecept the people trying to slam a good thing, every good and perfect gift comes from above, as the scriptures teach us.
The Dr Gabriela Segura article, in the newest edition of Dot Connector Magazine, MMS: Miracle or Trojan Horse?, should be read by all... including the FDA. It deconstructs all of the hyperbole connected with Humble and his MMS poisons. Fully footmarked with research and reference material sources.
It is a powerful presentation which should be offered to anyone you know who thinks MMS is a good thing.
