Witness Statement: Hi, I live in Staines and I have seen something that is like your description. As I said, I live in Staines and see aircraft and helicopters all the time, but on Friday 9th April at 11:30 ish, I noticed what I thought was lantern in the horizon. I kept watching as I thought it was quite dangerous flying around in this area. I kept watching it as it was moving closer and I then thought it's got to be a helicopter. This thing was moving towards my house so out of interest I kept watching and then decided it had to be an aircraft that he aborted a landing as the orange light got brighter and looked like aircraft lights (front aircraft light and two on the side). The strange thing is this thing flew over my house but I could not make out a shape only the lights that were in a diamond formation (it was one craft).

The thing that freaked me out was the fact that as it flew over (we are talking at a height of an aircraft making a final approach) it made no noise!! Not the rumble an aircraft makes flying low over a house. By the time I ran into the house to grab a camera it had passed over so I ran to the front of the house to look for it and it had vanished.
