Several witnesses in the Los Angeles, California, area watched multiple bright objects in the sky moving at slow rates, displaying different colors, and disappearing on April 8, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

"About 20 minutes in, we saw a second bright object, which was smaller and closer to us," the reporting witness stated. "This one seemed to be white in color, and it glided from directly under that "star" like object, to the east, and disappeared a moment later."

A New York witness reported a very similar sighting on March 31, 2010, in MUFON Case # 22735.

While I was visiting my brother in New York, I walked outside to retrieve my camera. When I did, I noticed an extremely bright "star" shining in the sky. The sky was still light, as it was about 45 minutes before sunset, yet this "star" was incredibly bright. I also noticed that it was flashing and changing colors from red to blue. I knew that this was not an ordinary star or planet that I was seeing. I quickly grabbed my camera with a 70x zoom and began to zoom in and film this object. To my amazement I clearly saw the object acting as no other celestial object does. The "star" was changing size, shape, colour and luminosity at a very rapid speed. It changed from red to blue to green, from a small bright circle to a large circle with an intricate pattern within it.

I continued to film it for five minutes or so, and the whole time it kept moving, shifting and changing shape, size and color! It was at this point that the star began to fade out from my camera, although it was still clearly visible to the naked eye. It was as if it was no longer enabling me to film it. I tried again to zoom in to the object, but was unsuccessful. During the entirety of the experience I was filled with excitement, wonder and joy. Just seeing the "star" shining in it's great beauty filled me with hope and joy. It was truly exhilarating.

I received a phone call from a friend telling me to go outside and check out a bright object in the sky at 10:36PM PST. I looked in a South-western direction from Pico Rivera, toward Long Beach, and saw a large bright "star" like object that was flickering several different colors --red, blue, green and white.

At first, I brushed it off as a planet, or a large star. My mother, a firm believer in UFO sightings, stood outside to watch the object. She called me outside within 10 minutes and said that it had been moving at a very slow rate, but insisted that it was moving. We didn't hear a sound, so I assumed it was only a planet and tried to convince her of this. I tried to walk inside again when my mom pointed out that this thing was actually moving. I stood out and watched it move further west toward the coast. She was right.

The original "star" like object seemed to glide over to the west at an extremely slow rate and moved over about 6 inches in our perspective. We were able to measure that from a pole that was in our view. 35 minutes in, we noticed the flare of the colors dim and watched the object simply fade away and disappear!
