Last Wednesday The Morning Bulletin obtained this photograph of a helicopter which crashed between Springsure and Rolleston.

Upon closer inspection of the photo, an unidentified object could be seen in the sky.

After zooming in on the strange object, it was still unclear what was hovering above.

Was it a UFO?

The photographer was of the belief it was a bird.

The privately-owned Robinson 22 helicopter was carrying two men when it struck powerlines and crashed on a property called Tally Ho, on Tally Ho Road, just before 11am.

The 38-year-old passenger, from a nearby property, received head lacerations but was treated at the scene.

The Central Park Helicopters pilot was taken to Springsure Hospital with head wounds.
