Two North Carolina witnesses in separate reports seem to describe the same bright sphere in the sky, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

In the first case, a witness pulled over to video tape a blue light in the sky March 15 that was moving forward and backward and changing elevation.

"Every 5 seconds or so it would change colors," the witness stated. "The colors I noticed were RED, BLUE, and GREEN."

In the second case, the witness writes, "The object appears to be white with hues of blue emanating at times."

The following are the unedited and as yet uninvestigated reports filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If North Carolina MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

NC, March 15, 2010 - Changing lights in the sky rapidly moving. MUFON Case # 22310.

I was driving home from my parent's house at approx. 9:35 PM EST. I noticed a blue light in the sky moving that caught my attention.

The light was not just moving forward, but also backwards and changing elevation.

Every 5 seconds or so it would change colors. The colors I noticed were RED, BLUE, and GREEN.

I pulled over and got a VERY poor quality video of it on my blackberry. The object itself however was very vivid to my naked eye, but didn't translate well on my phone.

After about 2 minutes, the object seemed to just vanish into thin air. I have been waiting for a very long time to see something like this, and this just confirms my suspicion of alien life. I think it's great what you guys at MUFON are doing, and just thought I needed to tell you my story. PLEASE let me know if you have had any reports of objects like this recently, especially in the Southeastern part of NC.

At around 8 p.m I went to the grocery store about 2 miles from my house. Spent about fifteen minutes inside. It was dark. As I'm walking to my car in the parking lot, facing west is a group of 3 mountains. Greenlee, Hoover and Mackey Mtn. Directly above Mackey is a VERY bright object.

I stop and look and rush to my car. The shopping center is attached to a Lowes Hardware. Lowes is in a large field that borders a large shrub farm. I drive to Lowes parking lot and roll down my window, facing west. The object appears to be white with hues of blue emanating at times. Mackey Mountain is about 3 miles away, as the crow flies. I watch the object for a few minutes and decide it might be overhead at my house, because you can see Mackey from my front porch. I call my dad on my cell phone and tell him to go outside and see if sees anything. I keep my eyes on the object until I start getting closer to Mackey and realize it must have been behind the mountain instead of over top of it. Which would make it MUCH larger than I originally thought. I turn back around and go back to Lowes but it is gone. My father didn't see anything.

This is not the first experience Ive had. Had a very intense experience in '05. I came home to check if anyone posted sightings in NC and someone had posted one today in Wilmington. That's the east coast of the state and I'm at the western part of the state. Perhaps the two are related.
