Witness Statement: From our apartment window we spotted a strange red light moving slowly across the evening sky. The light was traveling much lower, and slower than the passenger plane that was flying higher up in the sky. The object was moving to the east and was pulsing red/orange. The object stopped on several occasions, and appeared to move backwards before resuming its previous course. After observing the light for several minutes it disappeared.

We are used to seeing the training helicopters from RAF Shawbury operating over the town, however this was clearly not a helicopter as there was no noise and the slow flight pattern did not conform to the usual patterns. Did anyone else see this?
