Witness Statement: Driving along the road at night when I saw an object hovering very low over some trees about 300 yards away, which I thought was a plane. As I got closer at about 150 yards the object was still hovering in the same place and it was straight in front of me. At about 20 yards away I could see that the object was not plane as it had no wings, nor was it a helicopter as it did not have any rotating blades on it, or a tail. I could see that it had blue, green and white lights and there was no noise at all.

I was in the car with my father who also stated that the object was not a plane or helicopter. The shape of the object was oval and it was grey in colour. The area where the object was hovering over the trees was on a corner bend of the road, and there are several electric pylons near by, so it would be too dangerous for a plane and helicopter to fly that low. We couldn't stop on the bend as there were car following us.
We moved through the traffic and parked at home. This is my first sighting of 2010.
It was not a plane, helicopter, drone, weather balloon or chinese lantern.
