Description: I saw an orb of some sort. it was pulsating a blue color which could been seen around the object. It seemed fairly low and seemed to be moving in a zigzag pattern traveling northeast towards me. I went into an ambulance to get a pair of binoculars. When I returned the orb had moved to a higher altitude making the pulse seem less noticeable by eye. At this point I noticed that it had traveled away from me heading south.

When looking through the binoculars I could see some red around the blue pulses and the pulse seemed to go around the object making it appear like a cylinder. I know there's a Air Force Base and an army Fort about 20 to 30 miles from where I am located. (These bases are shown on the above map.) I have seen planes and helicopters many times at night here and they always had the same type of light pattern (one green/white light that flashes and then a red light flashing). This had had neither of these light patterns. It also seemed to be moving slower then most conventional aircraft.

Note: The witness's description varies in his report. He first states that he saw an orb and then refers to the object as a cylinder. This is possible if the object changed angle (e.g. pitched or rolled) and moved closer or farther away. The drawing provided does not depict what the witness stated that he saw in the report. The witness is located near two major military bases and seems to be quite familiar with regular aircraft. Therefore this sighting should be taken seriously.
