Oregon, September 10, 2009 - No sound, moving in a straight line. MUFON Case # 19237.

An Oregon couple saw something strange in the sky through the screen door and moved to the front porch for a better look. After just a minute of viewing, they acquired a camera and snapped a photo. They estimate the object was about 1,000 feet in altitude. They said the silent object moved from north to south at the same altitude until it was out of sight.

Iowa, September 10, 2009 - Observed craft that mimics jet plane, but vanishes then reappears. MUFON Case # 19246.

Here's an interesting case from Carter Lake, Iowa, where two witnesses are reporting that they were observing a craft at airliner altitude when "a series of brilliant, silver-white flashes were seen on the craft." The object continued along the same flight path and then "instantly disappeared." A few minutes later, the same craft appeared again in the sky at the same altitude, but was now directly overhead. "The craft proceeded to flash the same brilliant strobe-like lights a few more times, shifted position and VANISHED AGAIN right before our eyes."

Colorado, September 10, 2009 - rectangular black/gray in color. MUFON Case # 19247.

A Colorado witness noticed a rectangular-shaped object "gliding across the sky real slow." The sighting lasted about two minutes, but the witness does not give any details on how close he was to the object or the object's altitude.

Michigan, September 9, 2009 - two ufo's flying over Lake Michigan. MUFON Case # 19215.

Two Michigan witnesses saw an unusually bright light over Lake Michigan. They also noted that the object had an aura surrounding it, was flying on a straight path, was speeding up and slowing down at times. A second object was following this object about 10 to 15 seconds behind it, but it did not have the aura surrounding it. Both objects were silent.

California, September 9, 2009 - saw 2 huge starlike objects drop from sky-then slowly move NW. MUFON Case # 19219.

A California witness looking northwest toward Mt. Shasta noticed a "huge bright star," but then watched as a second light dropped down and near the first object. Both were bright, yellowish-white, no pulsations, and were silent.
