Date of Sighting: June 27, 2009
Time of Sighting: 4:30 AM PDT
Location of Sighting: Woodinville, Washington (Suburb to East of Seattle)

Description: I am not sure what I saw, but it wasn't an airplane and I don't know how a satellite would look like from the sky. I saw a round light, that was bright and was pretty up high. It was bigger in size compared to the brightest star I could see at the same time. It was going from south to north with a constant speed and quite fast. It was faster than an airplane would fly. Airplanes fly over the area I live in and I watch them often. I know that what I saw was not an airplane. I am into photography, but I realized it was not enough time to get the camera and set up a tripod.

Note: A check of satellite positions revealed that no bright satellites were visible. The witness seems to be familiar with aircraft movements and is convinced that she did not see an airplane. I don't have an explanation, but the linear, constant movement suggests that an explanation could probably be made if more data were available or if the object were sighted in the daytime when visibility is better.
