The quality of UFO video continues to vary widely. But while we wait for the next best evidence, I think it's important to look at every available piece as it arrives. The following three reports come from Texas, Colorado, and Oregon - followed by the latest video coming out of Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

The YouTube video here covers the Texas, Colorado, and Oregon footage. None of it is high quality and all of these are currently uninvestigated cases. The most recent video from Pennsylvania follows at the bottom of this page.

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page.

The following reports and their headlines are unedited. You can read my selected cases by type of UFO report at the UFO Traffic Report index page.

Texas, June 22, 2009 - Bright night object rotating colors.

I had opened our garage door and was walking some trash to the garbage can on the street for next day pick-up. Just above the neighbors tree across the street, I noticed a very bright object. I first thought it was an airplane with landing lights on. But almost immediately dismissed that idea. Number one, my house isn't in line with a major airport unless the aircraft is approaching from the North/North East (this object was West Northwest). Number two, I noticed that it was "rotating" its' colors (unlike an aircraft with stationary wingtip and tail lights). Number three was that it was stationary, like a star but obviously not.

I watched it for several minutes. When I realized that it wasn't moving off, I ran into the house to get my camera and tripod. I had enough time to mount the camera, get back outside and set it up... it was still there! Just hovering way off in the distance. So I zoomed in on it the best my little cam could do and shot some video. (I've attached that video to this report. The camera is a Kodak Easy Share Z612. Unfortunately, the auto focus motors are audible when viewing the video. Sorry about that.) In the video, it appears that the object goes completely dark every second and a half or so... it didn't. It's just that my cam couldn't pick up the "dim times". I was watching it the whole time, it would go dim then bright, dim and bright, all the while with the rotating colors.

This may sound a little dumb, but I'd heard that there a a few people who can and have contacted visitors vessels psychically. That when this was done, the object would move toward the person... hover, etc. I tried this to no avail. It just hung in the sky like a multi-colored, multi-faceted rotating gem. I was unable to put a "shape" to it because it was just too far away.

Colorado, June 22, 2009 - intense bright light in eastern sky

I was leaving work about 3:45 a.m. on the morning in question and noticed a very bright light in low in the sky to the east. At first I though it was a police helicopter hovering over downtown because of the intensity of the light, but as I began to drive that direction home I could tell that the light was further to the east than I thought. When I got home I went out to my balcony and took these photographs and video.

The light didn't move from its position for over 2 hours until just as the sun was coming up. It then slowly moved up and to the south which negates the possibility of the light being a celestial body of some sort.

There is a military base to the east of Denver, but DIA (the airport) is out in that direction as well so the light couldn't have gone unnoticed.

Oregon, June 23, 2009 - We thought it was a bright planet

The video is faced east.

Pennsylvania, June 16, 2009 - Low altitude strange UFO that changes light patterns by Pittsburgh.

Harmar, Allegheny County, 14 miles N of Pittsburgh, PA off the PA Turnpike. Have a new vacation house on the Allegheny River in Harmar, PA across from famous Oakmont Country Club Golf Course. We were wiring paddle fans late when I went onto the porch facing the river to get something. Noticed crazy flashing multiple lights over Oakmont C.C. that gave me flashback to my sighting in Murrysville on 5-22-09. Grabbed Sony HDR-XR500 with 1.7 tele converter lens and started shooting, first in Nightshot, then Low-Lux. I've seen a lot of planes & helicopters where I live and this didn't look like anything I've ever seen. It looked first like a race car or choo-choo at first, then finally a more plane-like appearance. In review of the video, I could see that it's 'tail' end appears to change position. The lighting patterns are not consistent, some lights go out, and then towards the end the lights are straight across--flashing again in a non-consistent pattern. At no time did I see a GREEN right side navigation light which is FAA requirement. At no time during or after did I hear ANY NOISE whatsoever from the craft which was about 100. It cruised above the tree line, then turned downward dipping into the Allegheny River basin behind some trees on 12-mile Island (in the middle of the river) in the direction of Oakmont Yacht Club. It was not heading towards any airport around here. There are no airports anywhere near here. I'm trying to request a radar report, but the FAA sight has a "page error", of course (not that they would give me it anyway).

I've witnessed several different types of UFOs, but this one is unique. It reminded me of the type seen and filmed by John Lenard Walson in outer space and is posted also on Youtube channels: JohnLenardWalson & GRIDKEEPER. They are too freaky to be seen in daytime, so perhaps that's why we've no daytime footage yet.

The size of my really cool HD video is too large to upload here, so please go to my Youtube Channel name: seeingUFOsPA to see this video and my other sighting videos in HD. If anyone KNOWS EXACTLY what this is and HAS VIDEO PROOF of night lighting, etc., they can upload it on YT as a video response. Hearsay of "secret government projects" will not be accepted.

Continuing footage from Pennsylvania

And we have continuing coverage from Murrysville, Pennsylvania. The latest video follows, but if you go to their YouTube page, you can see other footage shot in this suburban Pittsburgh town in the southwestern chunk of the state. I do not mean to discourage anyone from attempting to capture UFO footage, but I have written to the folks in Murrysville and said that some of their past video looks to me like they are photographing standard U.S. built airplanes or helicopters. I have no aviation background, so I leave the final analysis to the experts.
