Time: About 11.50pm

Witness Statement: Went to bed but decided to look out the velux window in bedroom (loft conversion). Opened it wide! Like a hole in the roof. I do this to get a nice breeze on my face if its been warm (gets hot up there!) Looking around at the sky and the back gardens...suddenly between 2 large trees which are about 100ft away at most.. a large(2-3ft?) golden ball of light drifted between the 2 trees. I expected to see it emerge from the other side of the tree, it was moving at a slight downward angle before disappearing. I saw it momentarily through the branches but I saw nothing from then onwards.
