A UFO was spotted over Tymbou (Ercan) airport on Tuesday night, Turkish Cypriot press reported yesterday.

According to front page story in Kibris the UFO was seen by a pilot on an Atlas Airlines aircraft on its way from Istanbul at around 8.20pm.

The pilot told Kibris he saw a bright object in the sky "which resembled a big man or a big rubbish bag". The UFO followed the aircraft until it landed and then disappeared, the reports claimed.
