Today's stories include: a UFO seen from Minnesota that ejects a smaller object; a triangle UFO spotted over Minnesota; a brick-like rectangular object seen over Michigan; a sphere moving across New York skies; cigar-shaped objects moving over Rhode Island and Arizona; a black circle-shaped object over Washington state; flashes of light seen in Ohio; an odd light seen only from a distance within bushes in Montana; and a California witness is asking for help identifying how V-shaped contrails can be made in the sky.

First up today is the story of a barking dog that caused this Minnesota witness to step outside to investigate. The only item of interest was a bright blue-white star in the sky. As the witness was observing the "star," another star dropped out of it. The second object "wobbled" as it came out of the first object and then became stationary. It was a red-orange color and somewhat smaller than the first object. The first object began to move east, then shot straight up into the air and disappeared into space. The second object then began to move toward the witness, who then moved closer to the home's back door for comfort. The object appeared to slow down as it moved over the witnesses' back yard and now a low humming sound could be heard. Finally, the object moved east as the first object did, and like the first object, shot off into space and disappeared.
Minnesota, April 10, 2009 - dog was barking went out to check on him saw bright white bluish star,and one star drop out of white star
My puppy Morgan would not stop barking, so I went outside to check on him. I brought him into the house and he kept on barking, facing the back towards the west. I took him back outside and he went to the front corner of my garden and I followed him. I could not see anything because trees were in my way so i moved to the fence near the dog houses so i could get a clearer view of the field behind my house. I then noticee a beautiful bright white bluish star. I was watching it, then all of sudden another star dropped out of it. It wobbled as it dropped, and then became stationary. It was a reddish orange color star. Seemed smaller then the white bluish star. I had my hands on the fence as I was watching this. Didn't think I could release the fence. The white bluish star begin to more towards the east, coming almost over my back yard. It then shot up an disappeared into space. I then turned my attention to the reddish orange star, and it begin to move towards me. It moved much slower than the white star. I began to back away from the fence to get closer to my back door. I was between the dog houses and back porch and it seemed to slow down more as it got over my back yard. I observed the star trying to see a shape, but could not make out one. I then noticed a low humming sound coming from the reddish star. At this point I did not know what I should do so i waved to it. I let my arm drop down, and then I waved again and said goodbye and the star took off towards the east into space and disappeared just like the white star. My puppy stopped barking and my older dog did not bark but he was more hyper then he normally is. Before all this happened, I was doing dishes I think, I really don't remember what I was doing at the time. I know I needed to check on my puppy and see what had him barking. I did know, and don't understand why, i knew it was not another animal my dog was barking at. I do know the humming seem to bother me and I feel lost for some reason. I do know that when I moved away from my garden to get a better view I looked up, and there was the star in the sky, but I knew it was not a star. I had no fear. Even with my actions of getting closer to my back door, there was no fear in me. The only witnesses I had was my 2 dogs and they are not talking.
A Minnesota witness standing on a balcony having a smoke break, looked up and saw a light moving across the sky at about 25 to 35 mph. Looking closer, the object had "lights at the tip of each triangular point." The silent craft shape was triangular and the color was a grey/blue with no identifying marks on its underside.
Minnesota, June 15, 2009 - Low slow moving triangular object.
I decide to go out on the balcony to have a smoke break and about half way through the smoke I get this feeling of something above me, like the feeling of someone moving up behind you very stealthily. So I look up and I see one light moving I would say about 25 - 35 mph over head about 3/4 as high as a helicopter would fly over usually as the do pretty often. This was no helicopter so I leaned out and looked up and this object was low enough where I could see it's outline and the lights at the tip of each triangular point. I didn't see it for long but long enough in the low light of the city to tell its shape (triangular) color (Grey/Blue) and that it had no identifying marks on its underside. I was not able to see it's top side as the complex is L shaped and It passed beyond my line of sight. The object made no noise what so ever. I have seen many things that could have been or were most certainly UFOs. I have had them shine blue light on my vehicle as I was driving in the past, but this one was the creepiest yet. It didn't even care that it was totally visible. Did anyone else see this thing? I keep up on military air craft and this one was none of those that I had heard of. The closest is the navy's new unmanned bomber this thing was probably the right size but I can't believe it would be totally silent (jet engine) and able to move so slow. This thing was blatant. Like a big F you guys, I'm here.
A craft seemed to appear in the sky "out of thin air," according to this Michigan witness. The object hovered only momentarily and then accelerated. The object was rectangular in shape, resembling a brick, "and emitted a very unusual light-brown glow." It was about 1,000 to 1,200 feet in length, and about 500 to 600 feet wide, and about 250 feet tall. The silent object was estimated to be at 8,000 to 12,000 feet in the sky. The object moved east and vanished.
Michigan, June 16, 2009 - Brick-like rectangle
At 1:55 A.M. on the morning of June 16, I was sitting on my balcony which faces north. I was looking at the sky when I saw a craft suddenly appear as if out of thin air, or extremely fast. It hovered for a few seconds, then turned eastward and started accelerating, at which point I could see its full shape. It was a rectangle shaped craft which resembled a brick and emitted a very unusual light-brown glow. It had no wings, no tail, or any other features to suggest that this was an airplane. It had no lights anywhere on the craft, and was only visible from this dull glow that it emitted. The approximate size of the craft was 1000-1200 feet in length, about 500-600 feet wide, and about 250 feet tall. It made no noise and was totally silent as it accelerated quickly to the east at a speed at least twice as fast as a commercial airliner, I would estimate about 1200-1400 mph. Approximate altitude of the object was 8000-12000 feet. It accelerated to the east and vanished.
A New York witness watched a dull grey object in a sphere shape moving very fast in the sky, and looking like it was falling from southeast to northwest.
New York, June 14, 2009 - Noticed a dull greyish object moving across very fast from S/E to N/W.
I was sitting in my backyard on Sunday the 14th, and looked up and noticed a dull greyish, sphere like object moving across the sky VERY FAST, almost as if it was falling, from S/E to N/W. At first I thought it was a shooting star but there was no trail behind it. Then I thought maybe it was a piece of an aircraft or shuttle, but like I said there was nothing behind it and it was moving quickly. I was looking up often because about 15 minutes earlier I saw what looked like a mylar silver balloon, but it was pretty much stationary, when it did move, it moved slowly, like no wind was moving it. The direction of that object was east to west.
Standing on a deck at home, a Rhode Island witness says a luminous object shaped like a cigar suddenly appeared in the sky. The object was red and orange, silent and moving vertically.
Rhode Island, June 6, 2009 - Unknown object appears during 10 seconds below the clouds - the sky was cloudy.
I was taking a break on the deck of my house and suddenly appeared in the sky a luminous object shaped like a cigar.
Its color was red and orange, varying slowly, performing a vertical movement of ascent and descent, the vertical movement was little, no more than half inch.
Your size was about a finger major mine, about 3 inches. There was no horizontal movement.
Appeared in the south west and could see it over the trees on my house, I figure that the elevation was about 30 degrees.
The sky was completely overcast, and looked underneath the clouds.
Did not deliver sound.
Everything happened in about 10 seconds, and then disappeared.
I regret not being able to provide more information on this sighting, but it was the first time that happens and I really surprised me.
My first impression was curiosity, then to realize that it was not a plane was surprise but not fear, do not feel scared at any time and when the object disappeared special feeling of joy felt by the experience.
Two witnesses about 100 miles outside of Yuma, Arizona, watched an oblong-shaped object hovering in the same location for about 40 minutes.
Arizona, June 14, 2009 - Oblong shape over desert between Gila Bend & Yuma, AZ for 40 minutes.
My friend Sally noticed the object about 15/20 minutes before me but said nothing until I noticed it. We tracked the object for 40 minutes until the road turned and the object staying stationary, was now behind us and could no longer be visible.
I have pictures taken of the object a couple of times during the duration of the observation.
At first the object seemed closer to the highway when I first noticed it at 7:39 p.m.(perhaps 10 to 20 miles away) but towards the end of the timeframe, seemed much farther away.
The object was dark, no reflection or lighting of any kind. A helicopter or plane would have had lights on it and would not be hovering at the same altitude, in the same location for 40 minutes.
The object was very large considering the distance and was oblong in shape. There were no lights of any kind. When we stopped along the freeway to take the pictures with my digital camera, the object never moved. The object was watched until 8 p.m. Even though the sun had set by this time, the object never became "lit".
I have seen many UFO's but never during daylight and never without lights.
Did anyone else report this? Is it common to have reports in the desert between Gila Bend and Yuma of UFO's? Please contact me.
Location: 100+ miles out of Yuma, Arizona traveling from Gila Bend towards Yuma.
I was the passenger, my friend Sally was the driver. I first noticed the object because of the vivid "Sun Dog" that was visible in the sky to the left of the sun. From the first moment I saw the object, I felt that it was a UFO because of the hovering, no lights with the sky continuing to darken as the sun was setting, the duration of the observation and no movement by the object when we stopped to take the digital camera pictures.
My feelings were of curiosity and to observe as many details as possible to hopefully find out if anyone else saw it. I have seen many UFO's before, but always at night and with lights.
When the highway changed direction, the object was lost from sight due to the object's stationary position.
Photos are available but I don't have internet.
Two Washington witnesses watched a black circle-shaped object. The object came toward them and moved directly overhead. It eventually rose up into the clouds and disappeared.
Washington, June 13, 2009 - Black circle shaped object.
As I was sitting on my back patio in the morning, I seen a black object in the sky in the distance. It was moving towards me under the clouds. I live near the airport, so at first thought of it as an airplane. When the object got closer I knew it wasn't a plane! I thought maybe a balloon or a huge bird, but as it got even closer I knew it was something else. Then it got right above me and could see it was a black circle shaped thing! It was no plane, bird, or balloon! It traveled from the north, moving south then southeast. When it got right above me I ran to get my husband, when we came back outside in a matter of seconds, it was on the other side of the house (front). My husband witnessed the same object but at a further distance. It appeared at moments as if it were tilting back and forth. As we watched it for about another minute or so it began to rise into the clouds out of sight. Wonder if anyone else had seen the same object that morning.....
An Ohio witness glanced up at the Little Dipper and noticed a flash of white light. A series of light flashes occurred in the sky with a second witness present.
Ohio, June 14, 2009 - Four flashes about 5-6 seconds apart.
I was coming out of a friends house at about 12:30am early morning on Sunday, June 14th 2009. We had just finished up our weekly band practice and as I was walking to my truck I glanced up to look at the clear night sky and noticed what I believed to be the 'Little Dipper' and at that instant I saw a flash of white light, kind of like a photo flash. Thinking it was a high altitude plane I kept watching for more lights but didn't see another flash until 5 or 6 seconds later.
To give you a perspective of my point of view, as I look at the little dipper, the handle is to my left and the cup is to my right. The first flash I saw was a dime at arms length away to the right of the top edge of the cup. The next flash happened directly next to and underneath the handle but the third flash was a quarter at arms length away and above from where the handle and the cup meet, so basically this thing back tracked to form a triangular flight pattern and all three flashes were about 5-6 seconds apart and were "flashes" not "streaks".
At this point I got the attention of two of my band mates to watch these flashes of light but we only saw one more that was about 12 inches to the left at arms length away from where I saw the last one. There was no noise and the sky was very clear.
Occasionally we hear of UFO reports on the small side - in this case, a tiny light emanating from the witnesses' bushes. This Montana man saw the light from inside his house and snapped a few photos. Outside, the light was observed for another 20 minutes while more photos were taken. If the witness approached the light, it would vanish. Backing away, the light would be visible again. The man claims he went toward the bushes multiple times, but could find nothing. Two other witnesses later helped in the search, but found nothing. I chose not to put the video up here as the translation might be tough to actually see this tiny image; but if you want to see the original, go to mufon.com and into the sightings database, input the June 9, 2009, date, and pull up only Montana cases. Montana, June 9, 2009 - A light in my yard in the bushes 7 am June 9, 2009
A glimmer of light caught my eye from my kitchen and i caught 5 photos from inside the window. These show a star pattern which is the screen reflecting, so I went outside and investigated. I could see this light with the unaided eye for over twenty minutes, taking pics for ten. This object seemed to be between me and the bushes, but if I went towards it, it vanished. It would return when I gave some room. The pics I took, and two videos are all with different settings and focus for a variety of views. It was flashing so some don't show it as intense as others.
The AVI files i included are probably the best evidence of what I actually saw. I went over to the bushes multiple times and found nothing which could explain these lights. My wife, and best friend also investigated after I showed them the photos and videos I am sending you, all without any explanatory findings.
I don't know what this is, but it is weird.

A California witness is asking how this V-shaped contrail can be made with conventional aircraft. Can anyone step in and explain this?

At about 11:45 AM, June 14, 2009 I stepped out of church and looked into the western sky and saw several "V" shaped contrails.
These were obviously not a natural occurrence and it was difficult to conceive that conventional jet aircraft could have turned this sharp. There were no aircraft in view when I observed these contrails. I took a picture with my cell phone (Nokia 6555). Sacramento International airport is about 10 miles away, in the direction I was facing.
