Another fairly light traffic reporting period - and again there are numerous Bright Light cases from multiple states not included in today's list.
Today's stories include: a Bright Light over Minnesota that ejects three smaller objects into the sky; multiple UFOs spotted over Salt Lake City forming different patterns - including a triangle; a low flying triangle over New York state the size of a 747 jet; an orange-yellow ball of light over Seattle; circles of light in the sky nightly over a Virginia farm; and a Nashville racetrack photographer asking for your help to identify odd lights caught on camera.
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page.

The following reports and their headlines are unedited.
First up today is a Minnesota witness who watched a Bright Light moving across the sky - as three smaller objects came out of it. The description of this case reminded me of - Color-changing orb over Oregon ejects triangle UFO. Then the witness saw a black helicopter move to the last point where the strange object was in the sky. Within 20 minutes, five more helicopters moved into the area. Once the helicopters moved away, a low flying jet crossed the same area. The witness wonders why six helicopters and a jet in this small town - on the same night an unusual object is also observed.

It was 10:30 and I was winding down after I put my kids to bed. I went outside of my house to have a cigarette. I was looking up at the stars and having a smoke when I noticed a star that was out of place. What I thought was a star was moving slowly and steadily picking up speed. As I watched it head for the last star in the big dipper's handle, smaller objects seem to drop from its belly and dart off in the opposite direction. Three total. I reached down to grab my phone and in the time it took me to raise my head the object was gone.
At first I thought it was a satellite or some space junk. It didn't blink or pulsate it was a steady light. I called my friend who lives down the street so I could tell him about this experience. At first I was thrilled...it could have been anything but my imagination was running wild.
While on the phone with him a black helicopter with a red light in the front and one smaller one on the fin came darting across the sky, heading towards the point I lost site of the object.. It was moving fast. I told my friend to get outside because now I was freaking out. But that is not where the story ends. I ran to my back yard and in the next 20 minutes 5 more helicopter flew over head. Each having different lights. The strangest one resembled a police helicopter with a large spotlight. But the spotlight was aiming behind it and started to scan where it has been not where it was going. My town isn't very large but at one time I had felt like there were copters circling the city. After everything died down I sat in my back yard and was on the phone with my friend when I saw a low flying jet scream across the light of the moon dispensing a 3 tiered chem trail, that seemed to disperse faster than any trail I have seen before.
The whole experience was quite alarming. I can't get myself to believe it was nothing. In a small town around 50k in the middle of Minnesota what are the chances of there being 6 helicopters and a jet on the same night that I see something in the sky.
It was nerve-racking but now the next day, I want answers. If there is something happening to our planet than the government has the responsibility to tell us.
A Salt Lake City couple watched five to six UFOs over the south end of the Oquirrh Mountains. They describe the objects as bright yellow/gold in color, dissolving, and then "blinking back" - and changing patterns with each appearance. The objects were visible about two hours. "Each appearance lasted at least 2 minutes, as one light would blink out, another would form up higher or lower. Patterns consisted of triangles, but when four, five, or six would appear - the pattern changed from triangular to split lights."

At home - the Avenues (higher elevated bench area of Salt Lake City); was watching a movie - inspired to go outside all of a sudden. Knew instinctively that this sighting was not airplanes or helicopters. Very used to watching incoming and out-going air traffic - THESE WERE NOT OF OUR PLANET!!!!!
Five to Six UFO's appeared over the south end of the Oquirrh Mountains, visible across the entire Salt Lake Valley. UFO's would dissolve and blink back in continuously changing patterns with each appearance. Lights were consistently a brilliant yellow/gold color.
Contacted Channel "FOX 13" News tip line at 10:15 PM - they reported others contacting them. They stated they have this on film by cameraman. No news, visible or written, has been seen this morning, June 4, 2009.
Husband and I watched with binoculars and digital camera for nearly two hours.
Absolutely no way it could be "swamp gas, flares, weather balloons, helicopters, airplanes, military!" etc. Planes were seen flying all over the Salt Lake Valley - but none matched the huge UFO lights and stationary positions when they appeared. Each appearance lasted at least 2 minutes, as one light would blink out, another would form up higher or lower. Patterns consisted of triangles, but when four, five, or six would appear - the pattern changed from triangular to split lights.
Most incredible, awesome sighting - similar to the Phoenix Lights! Why is no one talking about this?
A New York witness looked out a window and saw an object the size of a 747 jet with three bright lights forming a triangle. The object was between 1,000 to 3,000 feet in the sky.
New York, May 31, 2009 - Sighting of triangle UFO.
Sunday May 31, 2009: At 10:31 PM I went up to the living room to turn on the backyard lights for my wife returning home. After turning on the light I saw an object crossing over the house from the East traveling West. The object was about as large as a 747 and showed an odd lighting configuration. There were three bright lights in a triangle and there were lights moving from left to right flashing white, red, green and blue. I was hoping that this object would stay in the air so I could run down to the basement and grab my video camera. I telepathically asked this vehicle to please stay long enough so I could catch it on camera. I ran downstairs and got my camera and when I returned to the patio door I could still see the object although further West. I captured about 4-6 seconds of this object moving and several seconds of it at a distance. On the video you can only see a green strobe light flashing on the left and then the right side of the Triangle object. This is the first time I've had two sightings in two days. This object was about 1-3 thousand feet in the air. Very low in the sky. It was about 45°-50°. I also had a sighting of an object on Saturday May 30, 2009 of an object up about 40-50 thousand feet of a single object swaying in the blue sky for about 10 seconds.
Three witnesses near Seattle watched a glowing orange-yellow ball of light coming toward them, which then made a sharp turn toward west Seattle. They could not make out a shape.

I'm reporting this for my mom and sister and also a family friend who witnessed this from her own house so I cant give perfect descriptions.
My mom and sister were looking at the moon at about 11:25 (looking toward the west/northwest) when they noticed a glowing yellow-orangish ball of light that seemed to be on fire started heading towards our house slowly, then took a sharp turn toward the southwest heading towards downtown or West Seattle. Then the light got dimmer and went out in a time frame of about ten minutes. My mom described it saying that it "hurt to look at, but I couldn't take my eyes off it," noting she was freaked out by the unnatural behavior. Our family friend watched the object in the same way as my mom and sister. She watched this "object" go towards the southwest with her binoculars, but couldn't make out a shape.
A Virginia witness and the witness's mother are reporting a huge "circle of lights" in the sky over their farm. The lights are apparently appearing nightly and frightening them.

Seen a circle of lights in the sky that was huge. Other objects flying around the same area every night. The objects go up and down, left and right, diagonal. Sometimes they disappear. They're out there every night. We live on a farm. There were also 4 cows in the area missing, which I'm not saying the objects had anything to do with the cows but just a thought. The objects sort of make my Mother and I nervous. My Mother seen the circle of lights and says it looked out of this world. Ever since we started seeing the objects that look like stars but move in all sorts of directions we look out the window a lot at night. My Mother got up around 4am when she seen the circle of lights. Eventually my Mother stopped watching the circle of lights because she was a little scared so she didn't see where it went, what it did. Also around 4am, I seen what looked like a giant star real low and kind of pulsating . I have a video camera but honestly am scared to go outside and record them.
A racetrack photographer near Nashville is asking if anyone has clues to the identity of a Bright Light caught on camera while he was shooting a racing event.
