Location of Sighting: Valrico, Florida (Suburb of Tampa Bay)

Description: My wife and I saw what we believe was a UFO. We live in Valrico, Florida and I went outside due to the loud activity of 2 helicopters flying over my house. I'm not sure what they were doing at that early hour and were pretty much out of my view when I ran out to my front lawn. I quickly scanned the skies admiring the beautiful stars and to the west approximately 20 degrees from where the horizon would be was a stationary object approximately 12 to 15 miles west that would put it over the Tampa Bay airport area. I quickly went to get my wife out of bed and we both saw the same thing, which was 3 to 4 lights, blue, red, green and yellow in an alternating pattern. I quickly grabbed my digital camera and took 2 pictures with my zoom on full and looks like they did not turn out.

I then grabbed my old 35 millimeter with the x400 lens, and by the time I got outside, it was breaking dawn and could not find the object again. I took pictures anyway of the area in hope that when processed something might turn up.

Note: The fact that the lights disappeared upon sunrise may not be a coincidence. Perhaps the lights were a reflection? The helicopter activity at these early morning hours seems to be somewhat unusual.
