The witness contacted the UFO Examiner with his story, stating that he telephoned the report directly to MUFON, although there is no report on file in the MUFON witness database for that date. We are checking on that situation now with MUFON and will follow up.
Comment: Here is the first article mentioned above of a triangle seen in Maryland on this same date.
This second case begins with the witness outside a country farm house talking with one of his landlord's daughters about how her dogs had ran off. He sees strange lights approaching as the woman drives off.
He first sees an orange globe above a distant tree line, but it soon disappears from sight. Now moving to the front of the property, he sees three white lights and a red light that seemed to be part of the same craft above the farm - between two of the barns, but "with some altitude." He moves away from the lights and returns to the area behind the farm house, but the lights approach - and he can clearly make out the triangle shape to the craft.
The object was a dark gray, or black color.
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Maryland MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will update this page.

The following is an original witness statement and is unedited.
4/16/09 - Anyone else seeing a pattern here yet? Ok, I'm on my computer, gaming. One of my landlord's daughter was outside, calling for the dogs. I didn't know this till I went outside, which as soon as I did, my skin began to crawl and my adrenaline started to flow. I asked her what was wrong, she said the dogs had ran off. I immediately notice the sky is full of planes, more so then I had ever seen before. Again, I live in the country though we do have a small airport in the next large town, about 15m. away and some military bases, I believe Fort Dietrich and Fort Ritchie.
My landlord's daughter says she is going to get in the car, go looking for the dogs. They have a lot of family in the area. Prior to her leaving, I saw a strange looking light coming towards our farm. I asked her what it was and she dismissed it as a dnr helo. What was strange was it seemed to stop coming and then when she got in the car, it seemed to continue on. At this point I decided to call out for the dogs towards the back of the house. To the east, as I was calling out, I saw what I would describe as a orange globe that was above a distant tree line. It seemed to bounce up and down and also to be followed by an airplane. This globe went below the treeline, the plane I'm not so sure as I decided it was time to check on the light that had me on edge initially.
I'm back at the front of the house now, there are 3 white lights and a red light (the same craft) above the farm, between two of the barns with some altitude, how much I can't be sure. I'm thinking to myself, oh s..., this isn't registering to me as a helo. I'm pretty much full on freaked out at this point. I head towards the back of the house again to see if I see the orange globe anymore, which I didn't. I did however decide to check on the strange lights, which flew around the front and side of the main farm house and were now visible from behind. Lo and behold, the 3 lights are now in the shape of a triangle, with a clear outline of a triangle shape which was dark gray to black in the night sky. The red light seemed to be between two of the lights, closer to the one light I would say was at the highest position.
Again, I'm freaking out. As this is occurring, I feel a pressure pushing down on me, it seemed to come from above. I ran inside, to call mufon. It took 2 calls to get through, the lady on the phone asked if I could call back, I was like but there's a f...in triangle over my house! She apparently had a lot of calls incoming and couldn't talk to me so I decided to call mom. I went back outside as I was on the phone with her, the skies were still crazy busy, I described it like a scene from star wars, just so many planes/helos. It was the first clear day after a storm which could explain all the traffic. As I was relating my tale to my mother, I see a red orb below a treeline to the NE. I say to her over the phone, "Oh I know what that is," and continued to keep looking around. I thought it was a tower that's in the same general direction but when I returned to the spot I saw it to check on it, it began to rise. It rose above the treeline and just disappeared, poof. I relate this to my mom, get a call back from mufon (I had already made a report) and of course don't sleep.
No one else saw the things I did that night. My landlord nor her daughter seemed to be phased at all with what was going on. Neither were around when I had my 3 sightings that night and again, I was the only one who seemed phased by all the air traffic. I've lived here for 16+ years, I've never seen a busy sky like that. And what spooked the dogs anyway?
