Date of Sighting: 7th February 2009
Time: Around 4pm

Witness Statement: While walking my dogs along the river Eye, just on the outskirts of town, a fast moving object caught my eye. It was heading east, and for want of a better description, looked just like a giant Locket (throat sweetie!) Same shape and colour but with added glow. It was hard to say how high up it was, maybe 150 - 200ft, but I watched it move quite fast but steady for a couple of seconds until some trees in the foreground blocked my view. In the two seconds it took me to shoot round the trees, the object has gone. There was no sound and it didn't spook the horses, but I did notice that the setting sun behind me was casting the same shade of Orange glow.

I didn't do anything about it at the time, but after seeing similar sightings reported in my local paper recently, I found this site!
