Witness Statement: Having just moved to Galashiels from the Central Belt in Scotland, to get to know the area more, to see the lovely countryside and also to get my bearings on the town, I ventured up some local hills in Gala yesterday.

During the 4 hour jaunt, I took photographs of the lovely countryside on my way up "Blakes Hill", which is up behind the houses on High Road/Melrose Rd in Gala, then I headed over to "Buckholm Hill" and also took some photographs from the tops of both hills and on my way back down both. At both peaks, the views are stunning and very panoramic of most of The Scottish Borders and there are great views of the Eildon Hills over next to Melrose.

When I eventually got back to the house, I dowloaded the pics from my Sony Digital camera onto my PC. After viewing them, I noticed some anomalous objects in the sky in one of the pics of The Eildon Hills. Upon further inspection of said object, which appears disc or spherical in shape and metallic, there also appears to be one object below it, which I thought looked like a mirror image of the metallic object, but upon further inspection, there appears to be something below the 2nd object, but not directly below it. So, 3 in total. The objects are not directly over The Eildon Hills, but are closer to Gala, but The Eildon Hills backdrop to these objects.

Interesting I thought, and proceeded to check all the other photographs (zooming in using Microsoft Picture Manager). One more pic I had taken also shows a metallic object, and also has what could be a bird above it in the picture, although it's a darker image and looks quite anomalous. This photo was taken of a different area and points towards Innerliethin.

These objects do have some aura or haze around them. Like a heat haze.

At the time these were taken, there was no aircraft in the area, no jet noises either.

Note: As I traveled back down Blakeshill, later, around 3:30-4:30pm, there was a military jet flying around, over to the North East coast. It was loud and I didn't give it a second thought and just assumed it was on training. After I downloaded my pics from my camera after I got back to the house, it was only then that I wondered if that military jet was chasing off or pursuing something !!

Very interesting - there is something going on with The Eldon Hills - very magical place and they have a definite aura or energy about them !
