Witness Statement: To the west of Exeter, I noticed a light moving towards me traveling east. Then another two followed equidistant. Initially thought could be helicopters, possible on approach to Exeter Airport. Could only see three balls of pale white with none of the usual aircraft navigation lights. Difficult to ascertain height or speed, but guess lights were high and traveling slowly.

Before passing over the west of Exeter, the first light seemed to tightly turn south, gain height and then the light disappeared. The two following did the same. The night was clear and at no time did I see any navigation lights or hear any sound.
