- The American people are playing with fire by supporting religious extremist and political dunce Sarah Palin - and they will get burned.
- In the process they may also burn a considerable portion of the rest of the world.
- Synchronously, the financial system gets the last, gentle push over the abyss; hungry and poor people will provide lots of excuses for fascism - some will even ask for it.
- The climate is acting up, as it usually does during this time of the year, but the Sun is not behaving according to expected cycles, and together with a few clues here and there, we wonder if something in the cosmic/geophysical system has not changed for good.
Hockey Mom Fascism
Here's the big ominous news of the month: A fundamentalist, hawkish, power-hungry, far-right, predatory-capitalist and not very bright woman; rumored to be racist and proven to care naught for the environment, with disturbing links to sinister Christian extremist churches has been tapped as the US Republican party's vice presidential nominee. She happens to be pleasant enough to the eye (more than John McCain anyway) and calls herself a "hockey mom". Wonder of wonders, that's all the qualifications the American people seem to need to swing massively to her camp. Indeed, just when everyone was counting on modern messiah Obama to come and 'save us' from George & Dick (there's no chance of that, but never mind), along comes Sarah Palin with all the appeal that John McCain (a man possessing the charisma of an Egyptian mummy) lacks.

Oh, yes, it was the 1930s and a blue collar little (one could say funny) man, with certain religious views, and an army of Aryan soldiers ready to die for his pathological paramoralisms, was rising to power in Germany. A few people were able to see Hitler for who he was and what the consequences of his reign would be. Among them was a journalist named Fritz Gerlich, who paid with his life for his work, and Sebastian Haffner, who lived to tell us the story in a manuscript found and published by his son after his death, titled Defying Hitler. Haffner, with great insight, paints a vivid portrait of "what led so many ordinary Germans to join with or acquiesce to the Nazi program", placing personal responsibility on each German citizen for the consequences of this action or inaction. He wrote:
"... It may seem a paradox, but it is nonetheless the simple truth, to say that on the contrary, the decisive historical events take place among us, the anonymous masses. The most powerful dictators, ministers, and generals are powerless against the simultaneous mass decisions taken individually and almost unconsciously by the population at large... Decisions that influence the course of history arise out of the individual experiences of thousands or millions of individuals."We know what happened in Nazi Germany, yet today we complacently wonder to ourselves: "how could the German people have allowed Hitler to do what he did? How cruel and inhuman were they to allow the Nazis to perpetrate such horrendous crimes!"
Perhaps some of you think we are being too alarmist or pessimistic about Palin. After all, the Republicans haven't won the election yet and although they did creep ahead in the polls for a while, Obama seems to be back on top, right? And if he wins, who knows, maybe he could turn out to be a man of the people who plays the game well enough to get into a position from which he could do some good?
We at SOTT have a problem with this view. Experience has taught us that there are no real elections in modern Western Democracies, and that the American people in particular do not have the luxury of actually electing anyone at this point in time. By now, the means and methods for stealing elections have been perfected by the right wing Christian fundies, and they are planning to do it again. Yes folks, election theft for 2008 is already underway!
Since the McCain ticket was not doing that well (how to convince the people that McCain won if he is so far behind Obama?) they brought out the 'heavy weapons', the mom of our worst nightmares, in the hope that she will appeal to all other mothers and women. McCain and Palin are playing the 'Sisterhood' card with barely-disguised cynicism. As if normal women share any kind of real femininity with Ms. Pitbull. When the final results are known, we'll probably be told that McCain and Palin won by a short margin, and the media commentators will tell us that the "hockey mom" factor convinced those few who did not make up their minds until the last minute.
So there you have it. The only thing they really need to establish during the campaign is a plausible explanation for a 'victory', and they can only do so if the masses are asleep. It is in the sense of being awake (or not) that we, the anonymous masses, are responsible for the outcome. People who are awake and aware are immune to fraud.
Palin, if nothing else, stands for everything that is against true femininity and motherhood. She and that army of trained faithful warriors are ready to give their lives for paramoralisms and psychopathic dogmas, spreading death and destruction on their path. Sound familiar?
Palin, their blue-collar muse, believes that the war in Iraq is an act of God, and proudly sends her son to do God's will, because, "Hey! It's about time for that Rapture and only we, the 'Chosen' will be saved, but those others have to go". Those 'others' by the way, include the vast majority of ordinary people, people like you and me. Behind Palin are the same hands that have been playing Bush all along - the Dominionists .
To put it charitably, Palin is a woman of dubious intelligence. She can't answer a question that is not in her script and believes that the earth is 6000 years old, despite all geological, scientific evidence. She is clearly dangerously delusional.
This mean, cruel woman's policies favor killing endangered animals and destroying Mother Earth.
This inhuman woman, incapable of empathy, voted that the raped women of Alaska had to pay for their own forensic examinations. Her right-wing fundamentalist policies are against families and women in general.
This hypocritical woman uses people to achieve her goals and took the hard-earned money of Alaskans to spend it on her cult, as reported here.
And she has a good chance of becoming the president of the US. McCain is too old and has health issues, and yes, everything shows that he will win. Hear it from the mouth of an expert. Besides, the Rothschild family - the system's ultimate insiders - do not bet on a horse to see it lose the race. And it seems that they are betting a bundle on McCain.
Another alarming aspect is that we are seeing a lot of pressure being put on women in these elections. As the Women's Voices, Women Vote put it:
[...] unmarried women "have the potential to elect the next President." In an email, WVWV writes that "While married women favored McCain over Barack Obama by 49 to 42 percent, unmarried women supported Obama over McCain by 60 to 30 percent...Numbering 53 million, these single, separated, divorced and widowed women represent 26 percent of the voting age population." Add to this that for the first time in history, almost as many adult American women are unmarried as married, and we can see why Sarah Palin may have been a political choice for the GOP.We wonder whether these women will be the scapegoats when the rigged election results show that the next four years will be even worse than the eight previous ones with Bush; "Hey, they were the ones responsible, not the Diebold machines". All these millions of "single, separated, divorced and widowed women".... Uppity women, anyone?
We wonder also whether most of them will wake up and realize that while Palin is marketed as being the female and the mother, in reality her being and core beliefs are slaying everything feminine. Some already have.
Will the rest of us? Will we heed Haffner's words and allow our decisions to change the course of history? Because as is shown below, in all respects, the world is currently not a happy-go-lucky place at all!
Chronicle of a Crash Foretold

What a week! It began with Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson's decision to let Lehman Brothers go bankrupt. Then news began to come out on Sunday and Monday about the shaky finances of the insurance giant AIG. Then the Federal Reserve took over AIG in exchange for an $85 billion loan. So the stock markets crashed as fear and panic spread, only to recover late in the week as the rescue plan to end all rescue plans was announced.That infamous $700 billion rescue plan, which while 'painful-but-necessary' was meant to force the taxpayers into buying bad mortgage securities. The only problem is: The House defeated the initiative on Monday, "ignoring urgent warnings from President Bush and congressional leaders of both parties that the economy could nosedive into recession without it." Ouch!.
A most curious chain of events indeed. According to the papers, all the big cheeses of Wall Street were expecting Paulson to lend a helpful hand to Lehman when all of this began - but he said no. It's almost as if the point was to make things just bad enough by creating a cascading effect with the crash of one of the big banks.
And then the rescue plan failed. The purported reason was that not enough lawmakers were willing to take a political risk just five weeks before an election. But what exactly happened during the voting? A day before the final result, Rep. Michael Burgess reported from the floor of the House that the speaker declared "martial law". Before you go marching through the door chanting "Heil!", let us clarify that the sinister term in fact refers to a certain procedure within Congress:
Under the martial law procedure, longstanding House rules that require at least one day between the unveiling of significant legislation and the House floor vote on that legislation - so that Members can learn what they are being asked to vote on - are swept away. Instead, under "martial law," the Leadership can file legislation with tens or hundreds of pages of fine print and move immediately to debate and votes on it, before Members of Congress, the media, or the public have an opportunity to understand fully what provisions have been altered or inserted into the legislation behind closed doors.In other words, congressmen are forced to vote without knowing what exactly they are voting for. It sounds like a formula to have bills rejected!! How many people would vote in favor of something they haven't read? Unless they are told to do so by the 'party line', of course. Well, what if there was no party line this time, or if the party line was actually to vote against the rescue bill? It is likely that eventually they will reach some sort of agreement, but in the meantime, the failure of this plan has solidified an already bad situation.
But why would the string-pullers want a crash? Hunt continues:
Where will all this lead? It could go two ways. Since now the entire U.S. government and all the taxpayers will own shaky mortgages, if they decide to pay U.S. workers more, housing prices can start to rise again and the collapse can be prevented - maybe. If not, it will probably be the end of the U.S. dollar, its replacement by the Amero, the new currency of a North American Union ruled by U.S. military's Northern Command and Blackwater Consulting. Unfortunately, given who is calling the shots, the latter plan seems more likely.Hunt also notes:
What has been surreal during recent weeks for those who have seen this coming for years, is that, after years of telling us that the economy is the healthiest thing in history, now we are being told to freak out in panicked fear. Why now?And another commentator notes that the end result of an economy crashing hard enough" is food riots, crops rotting in the fields, and the real threat of a fascist takeover of the country."... Er, did we mention that a certain "hockey mom" is now seducing the US into taking the last steps towards overt fascism?

The probable answer is that "those calling the shots want the economy to crash now. Since all the assets were propped up by optimism, basically, making everyone severely pessimistic will ensure a crash."
This is the essence of the "Shock Doctrine". In fact, Naomi Klein has a very similar take on the September events and had the chance to explain it on TV. In her words:
"They have moved the disaster from Wall Street to Main Street by accepting those debts.... But the bomb has yet to detonate. The bomb is the debt that has now been transferred to the taxpayers. "So it detonates when/if John McCain becomes president in the midst of an economic crisis, and says, 'Look! We're in trouble. We've got a disaster on our hands. We have to privatize social security. We can't afford health care. We can't afford food stamps. We need more deregulation, more privatization.'As noted above, a new version of the "rescue" plan might be eventually approved - for the benefit of Bush's banker friends, that is. Rescue plan or not, a great deal of damage has already been done and as usual, the common people are already taking the hardest blows.
"You know the thesis of the Shock Doctrine is that you need a disaster to rationalize pushing through these very unpopular policies.
"So, the real disaster has yet to come. The real disaster is the debt that is going to explode on the American taxpayers. And then they do economic shock therapy."
And this may just be the beginning.
Heating up the Cold War
We'll begin this section with another shock: US generals are preparing for the next 30 to 40 years of continual war, including competing with Russia and China for natural resources and markets. None of us will ever have peaceful lives as the Cold War has been revived and intends to stay until it turns 'hot'.
After the placement of US missiles in Eastern Europe and the proxy war in Georgia, Russia and its allies took notice that things were getting serious and are rearranging their chess pieces.
- In terms of weapons: Russia successfully tested a new-generation ballistic missile, while President Dmitry Medvedev ordered an upgrade of Russia's nuclear deterrent capacity by 2020. It also refused to allow NATO (Czech and Polish) inspectors into its missile bases, while seeking negotiation on the US missile shield in Central Europe. Russia also plans to equip Iran with advanced anti-aircraft defense systems amid reports that Israel will soon acquire advanced smart bombs.
- In terms of resources and land: Medvedev said that Russia should unilaterally claim part of the Arctic, stepping up the race for the disputed energy-rich region. (You may wish to review our July installment for some context on the race for the Arctic and its resources.)
- Russia is also growing closer to those who will welcome it in Latin America, historically the backyard of the US Empire. A Naval fleet similar to the one that visited Syria a month or so ago is now heading for Venezuela. It includes a nuclear-powered missile cruiser, a submarine destroyer and two submarines carrying nuclear missiles. They will also be having joint naval drills in November. Naturally, a nervous NATO is closely monitoring the fleet as it approaches the Caribbean. Furthermore, Russia is negotiating with Cuba and Venezuela on the joint use of Russia's Glonass navigation satellites.
- Hugo Chavez is also trying to establish links with China, the other world power capable of challenging the US. Speaking of which, is it a coincidence that now that Venezuela is moving closer to Russia and China there are new coup d'etat rumblings against Chavez?
In this Cold War context, a curious airplane crash took place in the Ural mountains killing all of its 88 passengers and crew. According to the chief air traffic controller, the pilot was behaving "abnormally" and was not following basic instructions. As there is no explanation, the event has been called "one of this country's most mysterious air disasters". The curious thing is that among the dead was General Gennady Troshev, a former top commander of Russia's war in Chechnya and adviser to ex-president Vladimir Putin. With the world's political climate as it is, we felt this incident needed to be mentioned.
New Pakistani government gets the Mafia treatment
In our previous installment we wondered if the War on Terror™ propaganda surrounding Pakistan was meant to facilitate a hasty exit of Pervez Musharraf. Now we understand that the ongoing campaign was less related to the man who was leaving as the newcomer, who unlike Musharraf, is not an unconditionally supportive US puppet .
Here's a bit of context of the recent situation:
- Lawmakers overwhelmingly voted to replace Musharraf with Asif Ali Zardari, Benazir Bhutto's widower. (You may remember that Bhutto was assassinated with a shot to the neck and head at close range during her campaign under the cover of a "suicide bomb" attack in December 2007.) A day before the voting, Pakistan's government announced that it was suspending shipments of U.S. military supplies through the Khyber Pass, a vital supply route that runs through one of Pakistan's tribal areas and into Afghanistan. On the day of the voting, Zardari addressed the Parliament in the following terms:
"I ask of the Government that it should be firm in its resolve to not allow the use of its soil for carrying out terrorist activities against any foreign country," he said.- There have been huge differences reported between Pakistani intelligence and the new Pakistani government. Pakistani intelligence, you may remember, has been close enough to the US to help them carry out the false-flag operation of 9-11 - or at least its cover-up. It is not likely that they will suddenly become democratic and support Zardari.
"We will not tolerate the violation of our sovereignty and territorial integrity by any power in the name of combating terrorism."
It is in that context that on the very Saturday of the vote in favor of Zardari, there was a massive explosion at the Islamabad Marriott hotel, killing dozens, including the Czech ambassador to Pakistan was among the casualties.

Notice the crater in the picture. If the source of an explosion is simply placed above ground level and not directed towards the ground (as would be the case with a car bomb), there is no reason why the explosion would create a large crater, as the energy would seek the path of least resistance (upwards). The water inside the hole suggests that water pipes were broken. So was the bomb really placed inside a truck, as we are told, or was it underground? If it was above the ground, how powerful was it to create that amount of damage to the ground covered by concrete and be felt as far as 22 kilometers away? Is this the type of explosive material available to your average Muslim extremist working out of a cave?
No surprises about the official story: First, Al-Qaeda™ was blamed. Then one of those previously unheard of terrorist groups claimed responsibility. This one calls itself "Fedayeen-i-Islam". These "terror gangs" are reproducing like fungi in a culture. Plus, they seem to have magically developed the ability to skip the learning curve and carry out the most devastating attacks from day one.
The most interesting thing is that the Pakistani President and all of his Ministers were to have dinner at the Marriott but changed plans at the last minute. Now how did the rookies from Fedayeen-i-Islam manage to guess that??
It looks like Zardari got a tip-off. Most likely it came from the masterminds of the attack, and therefore we can assume that they also issued a warning that the next time there might not be such 'courtesy notice'. Notice that to complete the Mafia style maneuver with a note of sick humor, Bush offered Pakistan help to protect itself!
There were other remarkable details about the bombing. A US embassy truckload of steel boxes was unloaded by Marines and carried inside the Marriott Hotel a few days before the blast. Is it possible that with the takeover of the new government, the CIA and Pentagon offices in Islamabad took the opportunity to destroy some of the evidence of what they were really up to in Asia? Or could the boxes be part of the infrastructure necessary to destroy the Marriott?
With such a reception for a new presidency, it is no wonder that Zardari is not happy about the US presence in Pakistan:
"American troops are coming, without letting us know, without Pakistan's permission, they are violating the United Nations charter," Zardari told NBC news in Islamabad Monday before leaving for New York to attend the U.N. General Assembly and meet President Bush.The man is an insider, so he obviously knows for a fact who was really responsible for the Marriott attack. One has to admire his courage, as he doesn't seem to be giving in to the global bully, so far. A few days after the blast, Pakistani soldiers and tribesman shot down a suspected U.S. military drone close to the Afghan border. Then, Pakistani troops and US helicopters exchanged fire.

US troops have crossed the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan several times during the recent month. The Pentagon obtained permission from the White House to conduct cross-border operations without permission from the government of Pakistan . Several days ago, the Pakistani military opened fire on US helicopters flying from Afghanistan and made them turn back.
It's a sad story, and since this one was widely covered in the news, you may be forgiven for thinking that this is the isolated case of a country trying to retain some of its independence. Unfortunately, it is not the only one. Syria had its share of terrorism this month, and we don't blame Hizbollah for suspecting the involvement of Israel, whose intelligence service excels at the art of false flag deception. Speaking of which...
Miss Mossad on the catwalk
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is set to become Israel's next prime minister after a party leadership election to choose a replacement for Ehud Olmert. Livni, in case you haven't heard yet, is the daughter of renowned Zionist guerrillas and worked as a Mossad agent in the 1980s, based in Paris. Although the details remain secret, we know that she had the task to hunt down "Palestinian terrorists" in Europe. A former director of Mossad has revealed that she was part of "an elite unit". It is said that this unit fatally poisoned the Iraqi nuclear scientist Abdul Rasul at a lunch in Paris in 1983.
Mossad agents in Paris, by the way, were part of the operation to steal the plans of Saddam Hussein's Osirak nuclear facility so that it could be bombed by Israeli jets. Speaking of which, Israel has been eager to repeat the operation, this time in Iran, with the added risk that doing so has the potential to engulf the region in a major war. The UK Guardian recently revealed that back in May Olmert asked Bush for the green light to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities, but he didn't get it. Assuming that the report is correct, we take the liberty of proposing an explanation of events: the Zionists in the Israeli government have already made their minds up about Iran, so they instructed Olmert to go ahead with making the pitch to Bush. But he failed. So now they've appointed someone with inside knowledge on the art of making war by way of deception. The problem is that this means playing dirty, even with their US neocon 'allies', who for some reason refused to allow an attack on Iran just now. With what false-flag trick will 'Miss Mossad' come up in order to force the hand of the world's bully? And what will be the result of such a careless move?
Tony Blair finally gets the message
Tony Blair, always at the service of the Ziocons, as he proved before and during the illegal invasion of Iraq, found himself in a most unusual position after leaving the UK government. He became the "Special Envoy of the Middle East Quartet of International Mediators" for the peace process. Given his background, no one could really expect him to be of any real help for a peace process which is nonexistent anyway. Nevertheless, it appears that his performance of this role was not to the liking of the real masters of the Middle East. As we noted before, he got a first warning back in May when he had to face Israeli jets. There was a second warning from the Israeli Defense Minister in July, just as he was planning to visit the Gaza Strip, and at the beginning of this month he got a third warning when his sister-in-law found herself trapped in Gaza along with a number of activists by Israeli and Egyptian border guards.
It seems that he finally got the message, because he landed a much less exciting job as a lecturer on religion at Yale. Although he will still be the special envoy of the Mideast Quartet, we suspect that marking exams and reviewing essays will not leave much spare time for any visits to the West Bank.

Is the climate broken for good?
Scientists from the US Geological Survey got a surprise when flying over the Gulf Islands National Seashore, as they realized that Ship Island was nowhere to be found. You know it can't be a good sign if the sea starts swallowing islands here and there as a result of storms and climate change.
Likewise, it can't be good if the Arctic seabed releases millions of tons of methane into the atmosphere. A report states that an abrupt release of methane about 635 million years ago from ice sheets that then extended to Earth's low latitudes caused a dramatic shift in climate, triggering a series of events that resulted in global warming. But don't blame it on comets! No, in our punctuated equilibrium paradigm, only stochastically fluctuating climate regimes are allowed. The earth is well insulated from all that cosmic debris floating around the galaxy (end sarcasm).
We noticed that the populations of the world's common birds are declining, apparently as a result of continued habitat loss. But given that we have read reports of several other common species of animals dying rather abruptly (most notably bees), we wonder if a higher concentration of methane on the air might not have an effect on more vulnerable creatures.
Methane is said to accelerate global warming. However, we prefer to think of it as climate change, given that there are indications that the system may rebound in the opposite direction: an ice age. Consider our sun, which made history by giving us the first spotless month in a century. We have been paying attention to (the lack of) sunspots lately because, as you know, sunspots are signs of solar activity, and their lack can have a cooling effect on the Earth's climate.
At the end of September there was a small sunspot reported, but we are not counting on it to be the awakening of the Sun. NASA has taken notice of the solar inactivity too, and in a press conference it revealed that data from the Ulysses spacecraft, the sun has reduced its output of solar wind to the lowest levels since accurate readings became available.

Coincidentally, they have solved a "puzzling" property of those mysterious noctilucent clouds:
"The incidence of noctilucent clouds seems to be increasing, perhaps because of global warming," says Paul M. Bellan, a professor of applied physics at Caltech.The problem is, noctilucent clouds were only first noticed after the eruption of Krakatau in 1883. But now they seem to be increasing. Hmm, it seems there's one puzzling aspect that still needs explaining ... want some methane with your carbon dioxide, or do you take it straight?
Twenty-five years ago, researchers at Poker Flat, Alaska, discovered that the clouds were highly reflective to radar. This unusual property has long puzzled scientists. Bellan, reporting in the August issue of the Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres, now has an explanation: the ice grains in noctilucent clouds are coated with a thin film of metal, made of sodium and iron. The metal film causes radar waves to reflect off ripples in the cloud in a manner analogous to how X-rays reflect from a crystal lattice.
Sodium and iron atoms collect in the upper atmosphere after being blasted off incoming micrometeors. These metal atoms settle into a thin layer of vapor that sits just above the altitude at which noctilucent clouds occur. Astronomers recently have been using the sodium layer to create laser-illuminated artificial guide stars for adaptive optics telescopes that remove the distorting affects of atmospheric turbulence to produce clearer celestial images.
A massive Canadian Arctic ice shelf broke away. Again, this is an apparent sign of warming, but given the information above, it's worth noting that 2008 saw a larger amount of Arctic ice than 2007, which was the record. It is too soon to tell, but the ice could be heading for a rebound, as 2008 has been the coolest of the last five years.
Then there's the oceans. Australia's coastline is increasingly being battered by so-called "extreme waves" that are driven in part by climate change.
As we have seen above, many regions of the globe got a good share of rain and storms this month and the previous one. In the case of the UK, Northern Ireland had the wettest August in history while UK farmers fear their harvest to be the worst for 40 years. Their recent rainy weather was blamed on the southerly position of the jet stream. This got our attention because jet streams are related to ocean currents. Another article explains:
Climatologists have suggested that the winds, known as the Greenland tip jet, could be a key force in driving the world's climate and the global ocean circulation by pushing cold, dense water to the ocean floor and triggering the thermohaline circulation.So the questions are:
This massive "conveyor belt" carries seawater around the world's oceans. The North Atlantic is a critical point, where warm surface water coming from the tropics on the Gulf Stream is cooled and becomes denser. In doing so, it sinks to the ocean bed and pushes the deep segment of the conveyor belt forward.
Robert Pickart of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Massachusetts, US, and colleagues have suggested that the exceptional winds at Cape Farewell trigger this overturning (Nature vol 424, p 152).
"They cool and evaporate the surface water making it more salty, and therefore more dense, just south of Greenland," explains Renfrew.
If this is true, then the Cape Farewell winds help drive the Gulf Stream, which keeps Europe warm, despite their high latitude.

Brutal human violence is not something new. Documented history is full of horrific acts along with countless justifications or explanations for such behavior. The most recent one is the so called ' Lucifer Effect' introduced by American psychologist, Philip Zimbardo. The main thesis of his work is that everyone has the seed of evil and we just need a nudge in that direction in order to become homicidal maniacs or serial killers.
Feeling a bit down lately? Perhaps you better hurry and hide your kitchen knives.
There is no doubt that the capacity to do evil is present in human society. Human society is composed of many types of individuals, including pathological deviants who, because of their natures, have an extraordinarily powerful effect on society as a whole. The result is that human beings who are born normal are subjected to pathological material for all of their lives, to the point where they do not know the difference between good and evil. They are completely exposed to the influence of those predators, including being taught that 'we are all the same'.
'The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist'.
But just as there are many types of 'normal' individuals with varying susceptibility to pathological influence, there are different kinds of deviants with greater or lesser impulse control. As we mentioned last month, it seems like the rising global tension causes those with a lesser control to be 'triggered' and act upon their true nature, while the vast majority remain hidden, while continuing to inflict pain and gain ever greater power over others.
This month was also characterized by the same murderous trend, and we have witnessed a series of senseless slayings all around the world:
On 2nd of September, 6 were dead, 2 wounded in Washington state shooting spree
On 9th of September, again in the US, Philadelphia this time, a psycho, without any reason and unprovoked, hammers a subway passenger that just happened to be there. The most chilling factor of the story, is that none of the other passengers tried to help the victim during or after the attack!
16th of September, Russia: Satanists kill and eat four teenagers after stabbing each of them 666 times
On 17th of September , in UK, two sisters were found 'hacked to pieces' in a luxury Birmingham flat. That same day, a West Sussex woman fights for her life after a 'random' stabbing in a supermarket.
Then on 20th of September, two people were shot after a school football game in Los Angeles County. No motive here either. And on the same day across the ocean two 15 year-old boys from the northeastern Russian Republic of Yakutia brutally murdered one of their classmates by shooting him twice and stabbing him in the chest.
Again in the UK, a stalker in a Phantom mask stabs receptionist to death. The case above took place on September 22nd , when on the other side of a planet, a second Greyhound bus passenger is stabbed in Canada.
The level of brutality, and in several cases total and sudden insanity, is staggering. Of course, if we are dealing with psychopaths, this isn't exactly surprising. Robert D. Hare wrote in Without Conscience:
Psychopaths are unlikely to spend much time weighting the pros and cons of a course of action or considering the possible consequences. "I did it because I felt like it," is a common response.or in Batman's Joker character's words: "I'm like a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one...I just do things."
Texas murderer Gary Gilmore gained national attention for legally pursuing his own execution - and for succeeding: In 1977 he was the first person executed in the United States in ten years. In response to the question, "If you hadn't been caught that night, do you think there would have been a third or forth murder?" Gilmore answered, "Until I got caught or shot to death by the police or something like that...I wasn't thinkin', I wasn't plannin', I was just doin'. It was a damned shame for those two guys...I'm just saying that murder vents rage. Rage is not reason. The murders were without reason. Don't try to understand murder by using reason."
But even if the above gives us a somewhat clear, though disturbing, picture of the psychopath's inner state of mind, it still doesn't help us to understand the reasons behind the recent mass 'psycho activation', be it a bona fide psychopath or an unstable and pathological individual susceptible to psychopathic influence and behavior.
Since the subject is already on the fringe of comprehensible human behaviour, looking at "fringe" explanations may have some merit. The zombie-like behaviour of the witnesses in one attack sounds remarkable like those of another situation described in this article:

School shootings, for example. In most cases these were executed by individuals who made a great deal of preparation prior to their 'final death march', even if the deed itself carried the same level of monstrous brutality. This contradiction has contributed to many misconceptions (that it was a crime driven by rage or revenge for example) and created a consensus that 'we can never fully understand what drives those kids to such horrific violence'. Not necessarily so.

So I've considered, 'why did people go numb, between 2003-2004, and stay that way since? The chemtrails aren't all there is to it. HAARP probably isn't all their is to it either.
What we have blanketing parts of Texas--the whole north Gulf Coast really--and Austin is microwave towers. And now everybody has a phone glued to their head anywhere they go, even have those 'blue tooth' things stuck in the ear.

Columbine killers had no problem postponing the impulse to kill because of their preoccupation with fantasies of grandeur.
"School shooters tend to act impulsively and attack the targets of their rage: students and faculty. But Harris and Klebold planned for a year and dreamed much bigger. The school served as means to a grander end, to terrorize the entire nation by attacking a symbol of American life. Their slaughter was aimed at students and teachers, but it was not motivated by resentment of them in particular. Students and teachers were just convenient quarry, what Timothy McVeigh described as "collateral damage."But all of this still doesn't explain extraordinary accurate and deadly shooting abilities of those who supposedly practiced in their back yard or played shooting games. Again, the 'fringe' may provide some answers. While the term Project Paperclip may be familiar to many, the term "Greenbauming" may not be. Here we move into the shadow world of mind-control. But when there are too many anomalies to explain, it's worth considering the less prosaic explanations. The Virginia Tech shootings have too many facts that just don't jive with the "crazy lone shooter" scenario.

Aeroflot crash kills all on board A very suspicious element of this crash that left no survivors is that among the dead is an adviser to Russian presidents, both Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin, General Gennady Troshev. Considering the timing of this crash, we cannot dismiss the possibility that this is more than a coincidence - more like a warning, as the relationship between US and Russia heats up.

And it seems like the Israeli officials did not miss an opportunity to intensify transmarginal inhibition on their citizens - perhaps to make them think twice before they decide to ever leave Israel - by having an El Al flight from Paris get a fighter plane escort "justified" by an alleged bomb scare. Seems to be a favorite scare tactic too:

Really interesting stories have been surfacing from the coast off of Somalia - stories including pirates, ransoms and even weird deaths.
Sept. 19: Somali pirates seize two ships, a Greek one and a Hong Kong-flagged vessel.
Sept. 22: Pirates hijack another Greek carrier off Somalia
Sept. 26: A Russian warship rushed to intercept a Ukrainian vessel carrying 33 battle tanks and a hoard of ammunition that was seized by pirates off the Horn of Africa. Two days later, US military aircraft and a destroyer were reported as monitoring the situation.

The Americans appeared to be keeping an eye on the Faina until the Russian missile frigate Neustrashimy reached the area. A spokesman for the US 5th Fleet said the San Diego-based USS Howard had the Faina in sight yesterday but "cannot hear what is going on" on board.On the same day, that the above was reported, we had this strange story which sounds more like a propaganda against Iran than anything else: Off the coast of Somalia pirates die strangely after taking Iranian ship. Note how at the same time US and Russian vessels are situated off the coast of Somalia.
The Protocols - Everything is going to plan.
As events accelerate we should take note of a document that was created a century ago, the controversial 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion', a more suitable name being 'The Protocols of the Pathocrats', as we don't believe that any one particular religion or ethnicity is to blame for all evil. Although attempts have been made to discredit it as an 'anti-semitic hoax' (using methods described within it!), it has successfully predicted in some detail the Machiavellian political events of the past century, leading us to our present point of being on the brink of global totalitarian state. It amply demonstrates highly specialist psychological knowledge that is only now being explored in light of the new science of Ponerology.

The use of the 'war on terror' to eliminate civil liberties (by inciting fear of an unknown enemy), is also a central theme:

At this point the 'new order' can be brought in as the potential saviour:
We shall contrive to prove that we are benefactors who have restored to the rent and mangled earth the true good and also freedom of the person, and therewith we shall enable it to be enjoyed in peace and quiet, with proper dignity of relations, on the condition of course, of strict observance of the laws established by us. - (protocol 22)A repeating theme throughout the protocols is the use of money as the ultimate control mechanism, and of a system of usury and entrapment which will be used to gain total global control. This is a theme which is often covered by SOTT, and it seems it has now reached the 'crunch point'. Protocol 20 and 21 describe a system of instigated run-away debts through money-lending, usury and inflation of fiat currency, whereby eventually everything that can be converted to an 'economic asset' is so, these assets are progressively seized from the people, and the entire wealth of the state becomes transferred into the hidden hands of the money lenders. We are told how unstoppable is this financial black hole:

When we ascend the throne of the world all these financial and similar shifts, as being not in accord with our interests, will be swept away so as not to leave a trace, as also will be destroyed all money markets, since we will not allow the prestige of our power to be shaken by fluctuations of prices set upon our values, which we shall announce by law at the price which represents their full worth without any possibility of lowering or raising.It looks as though this global coup d'etat will be carried out using the collapsing global economy as a major means to wield power and to beat the population into submission or starvation.
We shall replace the money markets by grandiose government credit institutions, the object of which will be to fix the price of industrial values in accordance with government views. These institutions will be in a position to fling upon the market five hundred millions of industrial paper in one day, or to buy up for the same amount. The unexpected rejection by congress of the 'financial bailout bill' is especially interesting, and means we will all have to pay close attention to what happens next. With the spectacular rise to prominence of Sarah Palin, as a possible representative of things to come, we truly live in 'interesting times'.
