We pulled into our driveway and when we got out of the car we decided to look at the sky a minute since visibility was unusually good despite clouds on the periphery of the sky. Lots of planes from San Jose Airport and San Francisco Airport go near our house so we see them overhead day and night, but I was looking for shooting stars. Suddenly we saw something large and moving in the western sky. The pattern of the object to me looked like six fighter jets in formation. However, these had yellow or orange lights on the bottom (four per craft). Then at one point it appeared that one craft pulled away from the others, which remained flying in formation. My wife was standing beside me. They were driving down a dirt road and saw a bright flashing light. They had seen objects in the area before and their intentions were to look for UFO's. According to the witnesses, people that live in this area have been chased in their cars and seen objects on a regular basis. They went off the road behind some mountains, and no sooner had they come around the mountain they saw the large flashing light. All of them were scared but, at the same time, curious. The main witness friend's girlfriend was crying and telling them to turn around; they got within 2 to 300 yards from the light. It was the size of three football fields, triangular in shape, and had windows around it. It was about 3 stories tall, and about 30 feet off the ground, they flashed their lights and it flashed back, in the same sequence of flashes. The main witness and his friend, James, got out of the car and walked closer. The closer they got, the better they could make out what was standing in the windows. They could see small big headed aliens, and then 7 to 9 foot tall aliens, they based this on the size of the windows. Some of the windows they could see through, the other windows were dark, but then the dark windows, cleared up one by one, and as they went clear more and more aliens appeared on the windows. James was supposedly videotaping the whole time. Here's one received this week, unedited for content. It appears to fall into the classification of "Giant Serpent Folklore." More than twelve years ago, an elderly Piute Indian lady and a male friend - both from Price, Utah - were chasing down a Piute story from the lady's youth. The lady's grandfather had said there was an undergound city, and gold mines, under the Henry Mountains in Utah, near the former site of what the grandfather described as the "Serpent Temple". The grandfather had a hand drawn picture of the entrance to the temple - showing giant snakes carved in rock. He claimed the picture was from his family and the temple had been destroyed and buried to hide the site. To shorten the story substantially, in their searches of the mountain, the male claims to have been watching some cattle at a spring near the site and suddenly saw a monstrous snake strike a small under 1 year old calf of say 150+ lbs in size. He estimated the snake to be over 35ft in length. The object was moving relatively fast I'd say it traveled towards Center of Manchester (about 8 miles in 2mins) but had an orange aura around it as well as a tail. My first thought was definitely chinese lantern but it was impossible at the rate it was traveling. We then returned to the same spot 2 nights later - 31st - and I happened to notice one of these orange things in the sky again and it appeared to be in exactly the same place. I was just staring at this trying to work out what it could be and as I pointed it out to my friends another just appeared out of nowhere next to it we were rather shocked and trying to work it out when the second just disappeared. After a certain length of time it started moving from west to east rather slowly, it was clearly an orange colour and seemed to be like pulsating. We both looked up at the sky because we noticed a light moving in the sky, first we thought it was a plane or a satellite. It was a white light high in the sky that was slowly moving one direction, then it suddenly stopped and did a 90 degree turn and went in that direction. I came across this from Karl Shuker: This took place in Powys, Wales In March 2001. A British naturalist and some colleagues were conducting some research in the area after being notified by a local of "something" strange that was seen earlier on the year. As they stood at the edge of some woods by a quarry they suddenly spied an extraordinary entity. Measuring 2.5 ft or so in length, it resembled a serpentine dragon with four short limbs, but its head was shaped very like that of a sea horse, and it was airborne---undulating and wriggling as it flew about 10 ft above the surface of the quarry in a wide circle. They were unable to recall seeing any wings, but it had a long tail that terminated in a pair of horizontal, whale like flukes. The entity was green in colour and shimmered somewhat, but appeared solid, not translucent or ethereal, and they watched it for 3-4 minutes, at a distance of approximately 50 ft, before it finally vanished into one of the numerous caves and large crevices pitting the quarry. The naturalist had the distinct impression while watching it that this creature was deliberately seeking to keep them at bay, warning them off from approaching further into its territory. I made about 160 pictures for more or less one hour. I didn't notice anything strange, I had been in that place at least a dozen times before. When I checked the pictures the next day, right in the second picture I found a speck that I took for a bird at first. Taking a closer look, I realized that it wasn't a bird, but an object that reflected the sun's rays. We were standing in our driveway pointing out some constellations. I had just pointed out the little dipper to my oldest son and was showing him how to follow Orion's belt to locate it. My youngest son spotted something in the sky and was trying to point it out to us. When I was able to see it, it looked very different. It was V shaped located at maybe 110 to 120 degrees (East-Southeast). We saw no lights, heard no sound and noticed that the object was moving in a northerly direction. It was a solid black V shape that blocked out the stars as it passed in front of them. We were able to observe it for about 20 to 30 seconds before it moved out of sight. I have no idea what it could have been, as I said it made no noise and had no lights.
