successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure
uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other
possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are
viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

New! August 24, 2002 - West Nile death toll climbs to 16 - The mosquito-borne virus has now infected 371 people, including the first patients in Maryland, Nebraska and Virginia, the CDC said. The two most recent deaths were both in Georgia. The victims were a 51-year-old Atlanta man and a 77-year-old man from Columbus. Comment: While we think that this "West Nile Virus" thing is being hyped to scare people, the Secret State in this country has never had any qualms about experimenting on the public by dropping disease causing organisms from the atmosphere. So, maybe this is cover for such activities? But, no need to cower indoors. Knowledge Protects. So does mosquito repellant.
The swollen Yangtze River is putting pressure on the hundreds of kilometers of shoreline along the lake in central China where water levels are rising by a centimeter an hour, flood officials told CNN. Note: After all the build-up, the suspense is terrible. Is the levee gonna break, or is it not? Let's hope not.
FBI agents investigating the leak of classified information have asked members of the Senate Intelligence Committee for telephone records, schedules and other documents indicating any conversations lawmakers had with reporters. - The House and Senate Intelligence Committees are conducting a joint inquiry into the September 11 attacks. - Comment: Ooops! Looks like those boys in Black Ops are now going to quell any questions Congress might have about 9-11 or the Patriot Act by simple intimidation! Looks to us like the Secret State controls the country by controlling Congress. Yup! McCarthy is alive and well and running the FBI! Write your congressman and tell them not to put up with any of that nonsense! Go here to enter your zip code and get the email forms for your own representatives. You can copy and paste into these fields so as to save time repeating what you wish to say to as many representatives as you wish. Have your say and have fun at the same time! Meanwhile, have a look at the next item:
The U.S. Justice Department has appealed a special intelligence court ruling that limits prosecutors' ability to share information with intelligence agencies under the anti-terrorism Patriot Act. In that same ruling, the presiding judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth, detailed how the FBI has made an "alarming number" of errors in seeking and using national security warrants in terrorism investigations since 2000. Comment: Not a surprise! But we are certainly seeing the conflict between the Secret State and the people via their elected representatives as detailed in Richard Dolan's book: UFOs and the National Security State and reviewed in our article Something Wicked This Way Comes. The Secret State has an agenda, a schedule, and they aren't gonna let anything like law or Congress stop them! And if anybody in Congress goes after them, they get rid of 'em pretty quick like they did Cynthia McKinney! As long as we let money and lies elect our representatives, they are in the Secret State's pocket. (For a hint: see who funded McKinney's opponent!)
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court is a secret court that oversees spying in the United States. It was set up to oversee implementation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Judges on that court ruled that the Justice Department is misinterpreting its new powers under the U.S.A. Patriot Act that Congress passed last October. The court said the Justice Department's plan to allow prosecutors to become involved in intelligence investigations goes too far.
Authorities in eastern Germany said the receding waters had exposed World War II ammunition. - The death toll from the floods that have raged across central and eastern Europe has risen to at least 114 after a 35-year-old man died near the east German town of Riesa when his vehicle overturned on a flooded road. - Heavy rains across central and eastern Europe have created flooding conditions not seen for centuries, killing more than 100 people, forcing the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of others, and devastating historic city centres in Germany and the Czech Republic. Flooding also has hit communities in Austria, Slovakia, Russia and Romania. - Some of the most devastating floods in recent memory have killed tens of thousands of people this year in Europe, Asia, North America and other points across the globe - Comment: Ignore the stupid theories about WHY there are so many floods all of a sudden in this last article. We think that the increasing disruption of the earth's surface has a lot to do with the "accelerated agenda" of the Secret State as exemplified in their push for total control. Earth Changes are indeed cranking up and they want to have everything ready in time for the Big Kahuna!
The oldest confirmed meteorite slammed into the Earth about 3.5 billion years ago, setting off worldwide tsunamis and dust clouds that possibly affected the primordial life forms, scientists said this week. Yeah, right! More spin doctoring. Now you see it, now you don't!
New! August 23, 2002 - How Did United Flight 93 Crash? - Since we are receiving so many interesting links from readers, and since most of them focus on Flight 77, we thought we ought to post one about Flight 93.
AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT 77 - 8:20 am: Flight 77 departs from Dulles Airport. Some 20 miles from the Pentagon. 8:50: Last radio communication with flight 77. Now some 280 miles from the Pentagon. 8:56: Transponder contact lost. Now some 335 miles from the Pentagon. 9:00: Flight 77 turns and heads for the Pentagon (Washington DC). Now some 370 miles away from the Pentagon. 9:37: AA77 crashes into the southwest side of the Pentagon. Now, precisely 0 miles from the Pentagon.
Well, lets have look at the evidence from another angle. Flight 77 leaves Dulles International Airport at 8:20 am. Flight 77's transponder is turned off at 8:56 am. The fact that flight 77's transponder was turned off means only that the aircraft stopped transmitting its name and altitude, etc, but it was still very visible to radar. Flight 77 disappears from all radar screens a couple of minutes later, somewhere near the Ohio border. An aircraft appears on radar south of Washington DC, close to the city. This aircraft eventually crashes into the Pentagon. So the aircraft that crashed into the Pentagon could not possibly have been flight 77. This is simply because, if it had flown from the Ohio border back to Washington DC it would have been visible to radar for the entire trip. And, we are told that it was not. So given this, why do most people believe that flight 77 hit the Pentagon? Because the media told them so (and this is the one and only reason that most believe flight 77 hit the Pentagon). But the evidence (without even examining the Pentagon scene itself) already says that this is impossible. Comment: Since Flight 77 disappeared from radar near the Ohio border, we wonder how close it was to Wright Patterson AFB???
Critical Thinking: Emerging Theories - "I began this project in response to the Hunt the Boeing site, a French research effort into curiosities regarding the Pentagon crash site and the 'official line'. I was intrigued, but offended by the hostile tone of the presentation. I felt I had some more benign theories to answer complicated questions of my own. - It has occurred to me that the theory has taken a turn toward the 'extreme.' This was not intentional. I merely started out to debunk the French site, a seemingly simple task with the data available. I rejected most of the 'radical' theories out-right, but research has compelled me to look at some very disturbing circumstantial evidence. I still hold a more pro-American viewpoint and at the same time realize the extreme nature of the situation I propose requires the most extreme of measures to be taken only in an emergency as grave as war. This is wartime thinking. This is only a theory." Comment: This guy is going around his elbow to get to his thumb. Nevertheless, he has some interesting ideas and images. Most especially this page analyzing The Pentagon Crash Video
Plane Crash Photos - Not an exhaustive collection, but sufficient to give an idea of what a plane wreck site might look like under various conditions. After you have a look at these photos, try going back to Penta-Lawn 2000! to again view and compare the many shots of the Pentagon crash field at various stages of the "event."
Police rebuff Bush protesters - Black-helmeted police in full riot gear fired pepper spray, bean-bag rounds and rubber bullets at hundreds of protesters who filled the streets of Portland on Thursday outside the hotel where Bush attended Republican Sen. Gordon Smith's re-election campaign fund-raiser. - Chanting "Drop Bush, Not Bombs" and carrying signs with messages that included "It's the Economy, Stupid," the crowd of mostly young people occasionally blocked streets and tied up traffic during the afternoon as they made their way from a downtown park to the hotel. - At first policed by officers on horseback and on foot, the protest turned violent with the arrival of police in riot gear.
Police Open Fire on Bush Protesters - "At least 3000 people gathered in Portland today to protest President George Bush. Bush was visiting the state to spread lies about forest health and shake down the local ruling class to raise bribe money for regional crime lord Senator Gordon Smith, who is the Republican incumbent for U.S. Senate. The day of dissent started with a tree-sit in a downtown park where thousands gathered in the afternoon. Hundreds of police officers , including many in full riot gear, staked out a nine square block area around the Hilton Hotel where the fundraiser was happening. Protesters had free reign throughout the rest of downtown where they took the streets and blocked intersections. In the late afternoon, police declared a state of emergency to the glee of the protesters, and threatened to arrest anyone who did not disperse. Police then turned violent, shot people with rubber bullets and peppersprayed many others, including a 10 month old baby [ story: 1 | 2 ]. When the sun set people danced in the street and continued to face off police. The general feeling among participants was that it had been a great day. Corporate media accounts, unsurprisingly, gave different, often highly inaccurate, accounts."
September 11th: Here's What Happened - Wanna take a ride? This is wild, thought provoking, and more than I really want to believe, but with our Shadow Government running things from hardened underground bunkers, who knows? - Cassiopaea comments: If the reader will go to UFOs and the National Security State and read just the introduction of Dolan's book, and then read the quoted excerpts about mass mind control experiments extracted from Dolan's book in our article Something Wicked This Way Comes, this analysis becomes less problematical. That is not to say that we think it is 100% on the money, but based on info we have, including C's comments, the guy is getting very, very close. Note: Some of the links in the article will pull 404 errors. Not a surprise.
Asian floods claim 1,800 lives - Flooding that has claimed an estimated 1,800 lives across Asia is worsening, with forecasters predicting conditions to deteriorate further over the next few days.
New! August 22, 2002 - If life is just a game, who's the programmer? - As the publicity for the sequels to the blockbuster film The Matrix are being aired on a clutch of official and unofficial websites, it emerges that we might already be living in a computer simulation, analogous to the one popularised by the original high-kicks, high-concept Matrix film. - While Reeves and Laurence Fishburne were busy working on Matrix Reloaded in Sydney earlier this year, back to back with another gravity-defying sequel, Matrix Revolutions, Dr Nick Bostrom, a Swedish philosopher at Yale University, has leap-frogged developments in the fictional world of films by concluding that the idea of an alternative computer-generated way of life might not be sci-fi but sci-fact.- Others have mused on whether reality is actually virtual. Dr Robin Hanson, from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, in the Journal of Evolution and Technology, says that if your life is a computer simulation, you should do everything possible to avoid being deleted.
Jesus.com - Our son found this site and, at first, I thought it was just a very funny spoof. However, I clicked around the pages, laughing, until I discovered that "Jesus" isn't so silly after all. Have a look at his sermon Two Minutes 'til Midnight: A Prophecy Fulfilled Very clever guy.
UFOs and the National Security State: An Unclassified History Volume One: 1941 to 1973 by Richard M. Dolan. Complete sample chapters included on this site. Read the Intro for a marvelous synopsis of the situation. - "The UFO problem is a real one. It has involved military personnel around the world for more than fifty years, and is wrapped in secrecy. - If there are aliens, why not just come out and say so? - Based upon the actions taken by the official structures of power regarding UFO information, it would appear that the truth of the matter constitutes a threat to those in charge. - So, just how serious is the UFO problem? Are aliens really among us? If so, what do they want? - What we have here is a widespread phenomenon affecting many people, generating high levels of interest, concerning a project that is taking place in near-complete secrecy, for purposes unknown, by entities unknown, with access to apparently substantial resources and technology. That, at least, is how matters appear to be."
We are noticing some definite "shifts" in the political scene and we wonder if it is due to the activity of the internet networking? Is it possible that when we act in favor of our destiny in ways that do not include violating the free will of others, that it actually might be effective in the political world of lies and confusion? Thanks to the many, many readers who signed the petition to abolish the Patriot Act, and who forwarded the information to their families and friends.
Whatever is happening behind the "closed doors" on Capitol Hill, now is not the time to relax. If we continue to network, to share information, to exert the small effort required to keep our representatives informed of our opinions and wishes, we may have a nonlinear effect on our future. Two weeks ago, it was pretty bleak. Now, there are inklings of hope that the combined pressures of constituency and leaders of other nations, might bring the 9-11 issues to a different end other than the destruction that was staring us in the face not too long ago.
Now, it is time to act in favor of our destiny in another direction. In a speech to the Houston Forum yesterday, House Majority Whip Tom DeLay called for the United States to attack Iraq. During his speech, Mr. DeLay correctly stated "the rule of law" is one of the "bulwarks of liberty."
Unfortunately, the crux of Mr. DeLay's speech was his statement that the "question is not whether to go to war...."
But that is precisely the question and the question that ONLY Congress - obeying the will of the people - can properly answer.
Our law gives Congress the authority to declare war; and only after Congress does this can the president - as commander-in-chief of our nation's military - execute the war. (separation of powers).
Should the United States attack Iraq? As that question becomes more intensely and widely debated by all Americans, let's remember it can be answered by Congress and only Congress - the representatives of the people's will. If Congress answers yes, Congress must pass a declaration of war by a recorded vote.
Please help Mr. DeLay to understand that in our republic, our law says Congress must decide. And congress decides based on the INFORMED opinion of the people. So, let's give him the opinion of the people.
Unfortunately, Congressman Tom DeLay does not accept emails from anyone but his own constituents. So, in addition to writing to your own representative, you might write, call or FAX Mr. DeLay's Capitol Hill Office 2370 Rayburn House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Ph: 202-225-5951 FAX: 202-225-5241
Go here to enter your zip code and get the email forms for your own representatives. You can copy and paste into these fields so as to save time repeating what you wish to say to as many representatives as you wish. Have your say and have fun at the same time!
Saudis Plan to Sue U.S. over Sept. 11 - A group of Saudis plan to sue the U.S. government and media organizations for the alleged psychological and financial damage they suffered in the aftermath of September 11, their lawyer said on Wednesday. - Shamri said the potential plaintiffs included Saudis whose names had initially been listed among the hijackers of the planes that crashed into U.S. landmarks. - Others want to sue U.S. law enforcement officers for harassing them in the hunt for the perpetrators. Hundreds of Saudis have been questioned by U.S. authorities investigating the attacks.
Autism - and its milder cousin Asperger's syndrome - is surging among the children of Silicon Valley. Are math-and-tech genes to blame? - Children who lack basic social and motor skills, seem unable to decode body language and sense the feelings of others, avoid eye contact, and frequently launch into monologues about narrowly defined - and often highly technical - interests. Even when very young, these children become obsessed with order, arranging their toys in a regimented fashion on the floor and flying into tantrums when their routines are disturbed. As teenagers, they're prone to getting into trouble with teachers and other figures of authority, partly because the subtle cues that define societal hierarchies are invisible to them. - In one of the uncanny synchronicities of science, autism was first recognized on two continents nearly simultaneously. In 1943, a child psychiatrist named Leo Kanner published a monograph outlining a curious set of behaviors he noticed in 11 children at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. A year later, a pediatrician in Vienna named Hans Asperger, who had never seen Kanner's work, published a paper describing four children who shared many of the same traits. Both Kanner and Asperger gave the condition the same name: autism - from the Greek word for self, autòs - because the children in their care seemed to withdraw into iron-walled universes of their own.
A reader comments on the above link to Autism/Asperger's: "As you might know, candida albicans overgrowth is nearly a modern pandemic and is responsible for a bewilderingly wide array of symptoms. It can be remarkably resistant to treatment."
Cassiopaea comments: Reading this made me think that a lot of problems with children might be related to the idea of "as above, so below." Colonies of parasites might "frequency resonate" with any numbers of types of negative "energies." And so, if you get rid of the parasites, the STS energies no longer have an inroad. It would be a start, for sure.
Who was behind the September eleventh attacks? - Presentation by Thierry Meyssan - All these testimonies and observations correspond to the effects of an AGM [air to ground missile]-86C of the third (most recent) generation of CALCM [conventional air launched cruise missile] equipped with depleted uranium warheads and guided by GPS [global positioning system]. This type of missile, seen from the side, would easily remind one of a small civilian airplane, but it is not a plane. It produces a shrill whistle comparable to that of a fighter-bomber, can be guided with enough accuracy to be directed through a window, can pierce the most resistant armor and can set off a fire - independent of its piercing effect - that will generate heat of over 2,000° Celsius. ( debunking of Meyssan caveat lector - read Something Wicked This Way Comes for background on such Media spin-doctoring )
Russia Warns America and Israel Away From Iraq - largely ignored by the western media. - The Russian armed forces have for weeks been carrying out extensive exercises in the southern Caspian Sea, located due north of Iran and to the east of Iraq. - Smiling blandly as usual, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov stressed that the exercises did not carry any threat to Russia's neighbors, but added that Russia would be naive to ignore the potential terrorist threat it faces in the Caspian region. - Interfax news agency quoted the minister as saying. “...We would be too naive not to notice what kind of processes take place in the region surrounding the Caspian and we will use all our might against terrorists who are not happy with the current situation." - Bearing in mind that most of the Russian military hierarchy quietly view the Jews in Palestine as the worst “terrorists” in the world, the implied threat seems clear enough.
Immediately after 9-11, Jewish Lobbies immediately called for an attack on Iraq by the United States and her allies, citing “Saddam the Butcher who killed his own Kurds” and alleging that Iraqi “weapons of mass destruction” were being manufactured for immediate use. - The objective of this end game is to hand total control of middle east oil to the Jewish State and its American lobbies. - Whoever controls world oil production and distribution controls the world itself. - From the [Zionists] entirely unique perspective, America, Britain, and others must be encouraged to launch a massive strike against Iraq very quickly, before public opinion has a chance to go into reverse gear, which is a very real danger at present. Polls in Britain, France and Germany have already shown extreme public resistance to an attack on Iraq, and now to a lesser extent the American public is going the same way.
Perhaps for the first time this century and despite a constant bombardment of media brainwashing, members of the public have started to sense what the Jews are really about, and are at last reluctant to sacrifice their Christian husbands, or their sons and daughters, for the greater [and entirely exclusive] good of the [Zionist] State.
The Russians and others have watched on with interest as the Jewish-controlled American media has ruthlessly recycled its tired old emotional lies about Saddam Hussein and Iraq, which by early 2002 were the only realistic “newspeak” tool the Jews had left in their propaganda arsenal. That both claims about “weapons of mass destruction” and “gassed Kurds” are complete lies, is now beyond dispute. - Former UN Chief Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter has gone on the record many times, stating that Iraq no longer had any nuclear, chemical or bacteriological weapons of note, and lacks any realistic chance of building such weapons now or in the future. Ritter also points discreetly to known illegal stockpiles of all three types of banned weapons in the Jewish State, a flagrant breach of International Law. -
There is little doubt the Russians are acutely aware of the Jewish end game, and are seemingly prepared to go to considerable lengths [probably including tactical nuclear] to ensure that it does not succeed. Also of considerable concern to Moscow is a recent low-key Jewish threat to unilaterally attack any Russian nuclear reactor reaching completion in Iran. -
Just in case the “International Community” fails to get the Caspian military message, Russia recently ratcheted the pressure up a little more by planning a US$40 billion economic cooperation plan with Iraq. The agreement, which includes oil, irrigation, agriculture, transportation, railroads and electrical energy, will most likely be signed in Baghdad during early September, around the same time that New Yorkers will be psyching themselves up for the first anniversary of the 9/11 attack.
Under normal circumstances, most western politicians and “Friends of Israel” groups would support a large-scale attack against Iraq in a flash, if only to line their own pockets. But this time things are different. If there is one thing any politician fears more than ruthless Jewish lobby pressure, it is the prospect of losing his or her job and the fringe benefits that go with it. With voters in open revolt at the prospect of sending their sons and daughters to war solely for the benefit of the “Poor Holocaust Jews”, large numbers of western politicians have opted for survival by bottling out of the debate. The reality is that most members of the western public have now seen the very same “Poor Holocaust Jews” on television, ruthlessly at work in Palestine with their automatic weapons, tanks and bulldozers. As barbaric killers and war criminals they have no peers, and very large numbers of ordinary western voters no longer have any time for them.
Bomb-making video reveals scope of al Qaeda threat - CNNs "spin doctoring."
When Puppies Die On Animal Abuse, Al-Qaeda's Got Nothin' on the US Military - Just in case there were a few of you left who aren't biting the "al-Qaeda is the most evil group of people to exist in the history of the world" bit, along comes the "they kill puppies!" tapes. - PETA says: "No matter where you stand on international conflicts, it is a painful fact that the Israeli army has also blown up unanesthetized pigs with Scud missile explosives and conducted other painful experiments on dogs, monkeys, doves, mice, toads, and guinea pigs. An article in the March 17, 2000, issue of Ha'aretz, Israel’s most respected daily newspaper, reported that experiments carried out by the Israel Defense Forces on animals were so horrific that the soldiers forced to conduct the experiments had to seek psychological counseling." - "Each year, at least 320,000 primates, dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, cats, and other animals are hurt and killed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) in experiments that rank among the most painful conducted in this country...The cost to taxpayers for these military experiments is estimated to be in excess of $100 million annually." - "187,257 animals die in actual DOD labs, and 139,840 suffer in non-DOD labs funded by DOD contracts." - So, in agreement with PETA, yes, I hate it when puppy-dogs die. "What the al-Qaida did to that dog was appalling, but let’s be honest with ourselves that we and our allies are guilty of the same sort of barbarism.”
Too bad we can't see tapes of 1. The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male (the official title of the Tuskegee Experiment) 2. Experiments performed by Nazi doctors on victims in concentration camps - the same doctors hired by the CIA after the war. 3. Experiments conducted by the Atomic Energy Commission on civilians and military personnel in the USA. 4. Experiments in which unwitting subjects were given LSD by the CIA or U. S. Army (a part of the project sometimes called MKULTRA) 5. Experiments on children and pregnant women 6. The Milgram experiment, which tested the willingness of subjects to participate in an experiment which seemed to harm other subjects. This is not a "conspiracy rant," but rather a compendium of factual information assembled by Dr. Steven Hale, Humanities Division, DeKalb College. Nonconsensual Human Experimentation - Discussion and links to sites that discuss:
ACLU Seeks Information on Government's Use of Vast New Surveillance Powers - "This Administration's penchant for secrecy is matched only by its contempt for accountability to the American people and their elected representatives," said Barry Steinhardt, Director of the ACLU's Technology and Liberty Program. - "Attorney General Ashcroft bullied a panicked Congress into an overnight revision of the nation's surveillance laws just six weeks after the September 11 attacks," Steinhardt added. "The nation needs to know if these powers are truly making us any safer -- or just less free."
China struggles to stem rising waters - Almost a million people are battling to stop China's second largest freshwater lake and surrounding rivers from flooding, while families living nearby have begun to flee their homes.
Tourists dead in Nepal plane crash - The dead include 13 Germans, one Briton and one US citizen, as well as three Nepalese crew. There were no survivors.
Germany struggles to contain rivers - The high water is now approaching the mouth of the Elbe in Hamburg, but officials say sodden dikes could still burst upstream, where waters are still higher than normal and moving fast.
Weapons inspectors are the best way of reducing the threat posed by Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw has said. - The minister suggested it was "jumping the gun" to be talking of an attack on Iraq now.
New! August 21, 2002 - Not to belabor the issue, but a reader sent in a link and we had a look. The most compelling thing about this page - after you go through all the struggle with doubt while viewing the pentagon images - was the two images at the bottom - photos of the Lockerbie crash. It sort of really hits home at that moment that something is seriously wrong with this farce. See: The Hunt For The Red And Silver Boeing... See also: Penta-Lawn 2000! - The most resilient lawn ever! Exclusively tested at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
Friendly Fire: In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba. - Details of the plans are described in Body of Secrets (Doubleday), a new book by investigative reporter James Bamford about the history of America's largest spy agency, the National Security Agency. - The plans had the written approval of all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and were presented to President Kennedy's defense secretary, Robert McNamara, in March 1962. But they apparently were rejected by the civilian leadership and have gone undisclosed for nearly 40 years. - "The whole point of a democracy is to have leaders responding to the public will, and here this is the complete reverse, the military trying to trick the American people into a war that they want but that nobody else wants." Sounds familiar!
Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. Julius Ceasar
Regular readers of this website know that the Cassiopaeans tell us repeatedly that "Knowledge Protects." The catch is: it only does this when APPLIED. Those of you who have read Something Wicked This Way Comes and Noe and the Ark, and The Future of the Beast Empire, are also aware that we are in living in truly interesting times. Regular readers are also aware that we do not promote "acting against" anyone at any time. But the Cassiopaeans have taught us that acting FOR our destiny is essential.
On July 31st, right after our first ever Cassiopaean Conference, the C's told us:
And we see around us, every day, the events that tell us that the C's were correct when they said that the events of Nazi Germany were a "dress rehearsal" for the events prior to the Transition. We have just had the equivalent of the Reichstag Fire.
Did we learn anything?
Those STS guys are pretty desperate to make sure that THEIR reality is the one that manifests at some "nexus point" in the not too distant future. However, we seek to enhance the STO option for ourselves and to make it known that there IS an option to others who may then choose it also and assist in manifesting an STO reality at the "branching point" of our possible futures.
Even if we think there is no hope, that no small thing we do can make a difference, let us remember:
We know what IS. So, let us become colinear and Act in Favor of our Destiny. It is time to defend it.
A member of our Quantum Future School writes regarding the petition above:
Take an extra minute or two to copy the petition and paste it into an email to your own representatives. Go HERE to email YOUR representatives! It only takes a couple of minutes, and a minimum of effort. Remember: if the flapping of the wings of a butterfly can initiate a hurricane, then adding your voice to the thousands of others already raised against the acts of the current administration CAN make a difference!
And, if you think they aren't already practicing for the New Fascist Regime, read the following!
Scores of Houston police officers swarmed onto the Kmart parking lot in the 8400 block of Westheimer about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and arrested about 425 people for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. They also arrested many innocent bystanders. - "We went to use the restroom at Kmart and to buy a Scrunchi (hair band), and when we came back to our car, cops were coming in (the parking lot) and they tied our hands," said Brandi Ratliff, 18, who said she was a straight-A student at Waller High School and never had any problems with the law. - Ratliff said that even though she and two friends told police they had just come out of the Kmart, all three were arrested and spent the night in jail. "It was traumatic," said a tearful Ratliff on Sunday morning after her parents drove from Stafford to pay her $300 bail at the downtown city jail. "It was sick where they were holding us. A prostitute was fighting with another woman. The food they served was food you would serve to a dog, not a human." Ratliff and her two friends, Kris Karsteter, 21, and Kyesa Scott, 18, all had pink marks on their wrists from where they said police had tied plastic handcuffs too tightly.
Emily Demmler, 19, said: "All I was doing was eating ice cream." Demmler said the only trouble she'd previously had with authorities was being called into the principal's office twice in elementary school for gossiping. She said she pulled her car into the Sonic lot shortly after midnight so she and her two friends could get some ice cream after a night of karaoke. After about five minutes, police "just swarmed," Demmler said. "We thought we were in the middle of a drug bust, and we thought, `We're cool; we're not doing anything wrong,' " said Demmler, a part-time lifeguard at the Jewish Community Center who is starting college this fall at the University of Houston. Instead, all the patrons at the Sonic were ordered by police to march to the Kmart lot, where they joined throngs of other people who were being arrested, she said. - Demmler said many youths appearing to be 13 or 14 were arrested and taken to juvenile detention facilities, adding,
"They even arrested a 10-year-old girl who was having dinner with her father and took her to juvenile detention. - "She got separated from her father and I asked her how old she was, and she told me she was 10," Demmler said. "She was dazed." - Leanne Williams said her 19-year-old son called her from jail and told her he showed police a receipt for bottled water from Kmart, but he was still arrested.
Severe Electromagnetic Disturbance RIGHT NOW - Michael Mandeville says: I predict strongly that another excessive rain front and flood wave will push through the Northern latitudes beginning in about a week to peak in about two weeks. It should not be as severe as this last two weeks. Then in September, the Northern Latitudes will get some real rain as Venus and Mercury pull together towards the Earth and pull the sunspot count above 300 for a couple of weeks or so. No more of this puny flooding!!! Time for some serious waterfall!!!!! Time to put all of Northern and Eastern Europe's art in the attic. GET THIS, RIGHT NOW SCIENCE, SUNSPOTS, AND ALL, I MEAN ALL, OF THE PSYCHICS I AM AWARE OF ARE PARALLELING ON SEPTEMBER FOR MAJOR WEATHER TRAUMA. BATTEN ALL HATCHES. Cassiopaea sez: Tornadoes Florida - several. Also Texas and Alabama. [When the] Sun is in Libra. This was given with no year, but was connected to an "invasion." See Noë and The Ark for a discussion of the possibilities. Also see: Something Wicked This Way Comes and connect the dots! We seem to be in the lull before a storm.
French Sept. 11 Picture Has Anti-U.S. Elements - Embattled media giant Vivendi Universal's Studio Canal production unit commissioned 11 prominent film directors to each do an 11-minute short inspired by last year's attacks, and gave them "total freedom of expression." - The movie's first segment, from Iranian filmmaker Samira Makhmalbaf, begins with Iranian schoolchildren explaining, "The United States want to bomb us, so we must built shelters." - "The U.S. and Israel are democracies, their governments are elected by their people -- thus it is legitimate to attack their people," says the character, an unnamed filmmaker. - The segment goes on to talk about "the civilizations destroyed by the U.S.," and "the millions of victims" of American policy from Vietnam to Somalia. - Even the British segment of the omnibus film takes the United States to task. Directed by left-wing filmmaker Ken Loach, the segment focuses on another Sept. 11 tragedy, the 1973 coup d'etat against Chile's Marxist president Salvador Allende and the support provided to the subsequent military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet by U.S. president Richard Nixon. - Several of the other segments are fiercely critical of the United States -- a fact that could prove embarrassing, once the picture opens in French moviehouses Sept. 11 and in various international film festivals beginning with Toronto and Venice over the next few weeks.
How an unpaid conservative board that holds private meetings and puts nothing in writing gets heard at the Pentagon. - Meeting last month in Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's private conference room, a group called the Defense Policy Board heard an outside expert, armed only with a computerized PowerPoint briefing, denounce the Saudis for being "active at every level of the terror chain, from planners to financiers, from cadre to foot soldier, from ideologist to cheerleader." - The Pentagon briefer's solution to the Saudi problem was provocative in the extreme: Washington should declare the Saudis the enemy, he said, and threaten to take over the oil wells if the kingdom doesn't do more to combat Islamic terrorism. "I thought the briefing was ridiculous," a board member said, "a waste of time, and the quicker he left the better." When the briefing leaked to the press, it sent diplomatic tremors ricocheting to Riyadh.
This is the kind of thinking that routinely takes place inside the Defense Policy Board, the Secretary's private think tank Chaired by Richard Perle — a Reagan Pentagon official whose hard-line views won him the title "Prince of Darkness"--the board gives its 31 unpaid members something every Washington player wants: unrivaled access without accountability. Perle uses his post as a springboard for his unilateralist, attack-Iraq views to try to whip the Bush Administration into action.
In effect, the board has become Perle's podium. It rarely achieved any notice before he assumed the chairmanship last year, but now his position there lends weight to his public pronouncements.

Thousands of Chinese soldiers reinforced dykes around a lake the size of Luxembourg on Wednesday as it near bursting point, threatening millions of people, state media said. - China's summer floods, which began early this year, have already killed more than 900 people, prompting warnings from government officials that they could be more deadly than in 1998. - Tropical storm Vongfong pounded the southern province of Guangdong on Tuesday before moving east to neighboring Guangxi, where it killed eight people, and then to Hunan where it has swollen rivers feeding into Dongting Lake, state media said.
Seth Shostak has a vision of aliens from outer space. It is not one of little green men or bald, bulbous-brained geeks. His is a rational vision, one built on hard facts and intelligent speculation, which is hardly surprising given that he is senior astronomer with the SETI Institute in California. Forget what you've seen on The X-Files, SETI – the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence – is the serious, scientifically based endeavour of looking for signs of other civilisations beyond Earth. Cassiopaea comments: SETI Schmetti! SETI stands for "search for extra terrestrial intelligence," now why don't you all start a search for a method to invent indoor plumbing?
NASA has found a missing $159 million spacecraft, thanks to a half-dozen telescope images that confirm the silent probe is in orbit around the sun but possibly broken in pieces.
India villagers blame UFO for attacks - Doctors dismiss the stories as mass hysteria. - The police have another explanation: bugs. See also: India calls in X-Files agents to unmask face-scratching alien - The Times of India reported that the national intelligence bureau was sufficiently concerned to send its own agents, like Mulder and Scully from television’s X-Files, to investigate the “alien” invasion. - The agents concluded that the villagers were right and that they were indeed experiencing an extra-terrestrial invasion.
Japanese scientists are planning to use tissue from the legs and testicles of a dead mammoth to clone the extinct creature and display it at an Ice Age wildlife park in Siberia. - Mammoths became extinct about 10,000 years ago, but using a technique that involves impregnating an Indian elephant -- its closest genetic relative -- with mammoth sperm and then repeating the procedure with its offspring could produce a creature that is 88 percent mammoth in 50 years, the report said. - There are believed to be ten million mammoths buried in the permafrost in Siberia, but because of the sparse population in the region only around one hundred specimens have been recovered.
President Bush will propose - making it easier for the timber industry to thin national forests, backing a change in federal rules the White House says will reduce the kind of devastating fires sweeping the western states this summer.
Widow's Book Sheds More Light on Last Moments of Flight 93 on Sept. 11 - Beamer bases her account on what she heard from the plane's cockpit recorder and conversations passengers had with friends and loved ones on the ground. - Prosecutors and other law enforcement officials have not made the cockpit recording public, saying it could still be used as evidence. They also have never publicly confirmed whether they believe the passengers did in fact manage to thwart the hijackers or whether the plane crashed into a field for some other reason.
A newspaper publisher is asking a judge to publicly release any cockpit tape recordings and transcripts introduced at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, the accused September 11 conspirator. - The government had cited a law that prevents disclosure of cockpit voice recordings, except in a courtroom. In this instance, the newspaper said, the recordings already have been disclosed to other government agencies and were played for some relatives of the victims of Flight 93.
As a deadline nears for the United States to elaborate why it is holding without charges an American captured fighting with the Taliban, federal prosecutors filed a new round of appeals over the man's legal status. - Last Friday, Doumar ordered the government to produce more information by Wednesday about the criteria used to declare Hamdi an enemy combatant. The government says the court has no authority to demand the information and has refused to provide the material. - In its filing, the government asked the appeals court to block Doumar's order until the issue is resolved. - The central issue continues to be whether the courts have any power to intervene when the executive branch has declared someone from the battlefield to be an enemy combatant.
Iraq Says Abu Nidal Shot Himself in the Mouth - as Iraqi officials waited in his home to take him to court, the head of Iraqi intelligence said Wednesday. - Haboush suggested there was only one shot. When the security officers arrived at his home, Abu Nidal said he needed to go to his bedroom to change his clothes, Haboush said. A shot was fired, and the officers found that Abu Nidal had shot himself in the mouth, he said. Abu Nidal was rushed to hospital where he died eight hours later, Haboush said. - Haboush showed photos of what he said was the body of Abu Nidal in a hospital intensive care unit: a gray-haired man in a bed, blankets pulled up to his chest, his face streaked with blood that has soaked the pillow under his head. - Haboush said agents found evidence that Abu Nidal had been communicating with another country, but gave no details. "We also found documents that prove he had contacts with a (foreign) country," Haboush said. "Due to the current critical circumstances our country is going through, we will not name it."

Israeli commandos shot dead the brother of the leader of a radical Palestinian faction yesterday, stoking anger in the West Bank less than a day after setting out on a new security accord which was supposed to create calm. - Israeli special forces killed Mohammed Sa'adat, 23, at his house in Ramallah, dealing a blow to the already poor survival chances of the new accord. - The killing is likely to trigger more bloodshed because the PFLP has a reputation of avenging Israeli attacks. When Israel assassinated its leader last year, the group responded by gunning down an Israeli cabinet minister, bringing the conflict to new crisis point.
The Bush administration has abandoned a plan to launch a military strike against a small radical Kurdish group in northern Iraq with supposed links to al-Qa'ida that was apparently experimenting with toxic agents and poison gas.

Egypt will not let US warships pass through Suez Canal - Qatar News Agency (QNA)- Dr. Oasma Al Baz, political advisor to the Egyptian president, said Egypt will not allow passage through the Suez Canal of US ships headed to strike Iraq. - Egypt rejects any military operation against Iraq, its territorial unity, independence and safety of Iraqi people, adding any military attack on Iraq represents a vary dangerous step endangering the security of the region. Dr. Al Baz said the question of UN weapons inspectors is an issue which concerns the UN and the Security Council and not Washington and the US has no right to take any military action against Iraq nor has the right to interfere in the internal affairs of another country and impose a set-up of new leadership on its people.
Archbishop of Sydney steps down over claims that he molested a 12-year-old boy when he was a trainee priest 40 years ago. Dr. Pell provoked anger last month when he said abortion was worse than sexual abuse by priests. - The Catholic Church in Australia, as in Ireland and America, has been convulsed by accusations that some clergy committed wide-spread sexual abuse. Millions of dollars in compensation have been paid to victims, and Dr Pell said 90 priests in the past six years had been convicted of molesting children. - Dr Pell said he had taken a lead in exposing sexual abuse within the Church, setting up the first independent commission to examine the issue six years ago. In June, he and his counterpart in Melbourne, Archbishop Denis Hart, took out full-page newspaper advertisements apologising for the Church's failure to deal more swiftly with the issue. The advertisements followed claims that Dr Pell offered A$50,000 (£17,500) to the parents of two girls abused by a priest for six years in an effort to buy their silence. He initially denied it, then admitted offering the sum, but said it was compensation, not "hush money". Dr Pell has also denied offering a bribe to a man who approached him for help 10 years ago, saying he had been abused by his uncle, a priest. The man claims the archbishop told him: "I want to know what it will take to keep you quiet."
Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney, loses to former state judge and political newcomer Denise Majette. - In her loss, McKinney joined Rep. Earl Hilliard, Democrat of Alabama, as the second black lawmaker targeted by Jewish groups to lose a re-election bid in the post-September 11 era. Fueled by contributions from the Jewish community, Majette raised more money than the incumbent. Why was she targeted? Because she was demanding answers about possible Israeli involvement in the WTC attack. Majette criticized McKinney for accepting campaign contributions from Arab-Americans with possible ties to terrorist organizations, including several who were named in a lawsuit by families of September 11 victims. In response, McKinney said her campaign would not "racially profile" contributors.
CBS and associates of Bill Clinton are reportedly discussing the possibility of the former president hosting an afternoon talk show.
