Lue Elizondo: "There's No Going Back" on UFO Disclosure

It has been almost a decade since Lue Elizondo first emerged as one of the most prominent public faces of the modern UFO / UAP issue, following the New York Times' 2017 reporting on AATIP, the Pentagon's secretive Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

In an exclusive interview, Elizondo shares perspectives and personal observations in a way he has not yet done with anyone else. He gets candid and personal, sharing a side of himself I suspect he has kept closely guarded for years.

At the beginning of our interview, Elizondo tells me without prompting that there's no going back from the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) disclosure process, which appears to have accelerated under the Trump administration. It's a process which he arguably kick-started in public.

He adds:
"I knew that there would come a point where there's no going back. Make no mistake about it. I realize I started this conversation for better or for worse. I started this train rolling down the tracks and the responsibility to see this through is on my shoulders."
I have known Lue Elizondo for close to five years. We first met on a bitterly cold day at Soho Farmhouse, tucked away in England's Cotswolds. He was there with Dan Farah, director of The Age of Disclosure, as they prepared for a GQ Heroes event.

As he was when I first met him, Elizondo is still enthusiastic, energetic and relentlessly positive. Part of that intensity, he tells me, comes from the way he sees the world.

For some time, I have known Elizondo has been keeping something private. Something not related to UAP disclosure, but something nonetheless that may ultimately influence his ability to see this through.

Elizondo is on the autistic spectrum. When I ask whether I can share his condition for this piece, he immediately says yes.

Remains found in New Mexico national forest ID'd as those of Melissa Casias, Los Alamos employee, who vanished last year

© GoFundMeMelissa Casias (pictured) was last seen walking alone in New Mexico after dropping off her husband at work at Los Alamos National Laboratory, but not reporting for work herself.
Casias, 53, had been missing for nearly a year after she didn't show up for work at Los Alamos National Laboratory. A gun was found near the remains, authorities said.

Human remains found by a hiker last week in a New Mexico national forest are those of a Los Alamos National Laboratory employee who had been missing for nearly a year, authorities said.

The discovery in the McGaffey Ridge area of Carson National Forest was reported Thursday, and the New Mexico Medical Investigator's Office identified the remains as those of Melissa Casias, authorities said.

"Investigators also learned that a handgun was located alongside the remains," New Mexico State Police said in a statement Saturday.

The Medical Investigator's Office is likely to determine the cause and manner of death, police said.

Trump, the Vatican and the market shock: Inside the growing disclosure debate

Trump Sky messages

Following recent reporting that White House and defense officials have sought advice on how to prepare the public for a possible announcement regarding UFOs and non-human intelligence, Liberation Times has spoken to additional sources who believe the consequences of such a moment would extend far beyond Washington.

Those sources say any disclosure process would have to consider not only public reaction, but also religious institutions, financial markets, allied governments and America's strategic position in the world.

The latest release of UFO files may therefore be significant not simply because of what the videos show, but because of what they may signal: a possible effort to prepare the public for a far larger announcement.

In a recent Daily Mail article, investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell said officials from the White House and Department of Defense had sought his advice on communications strategy and terminology ahead of a possible announcement concerning UAP reality and non-human intelligence. He said the preparation was real and underway.

Corbell is not alone.

NASA boss reveals unsettling reality behind newly released UFO files

Released files include infrared footage, Apollo-era astronaut accounts and military pilot testimony from combat zones

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the Trump administration's newly declassified UAP files are exposing years of strange aerial sightings that government agencies failed to seriously dig into — even if the records do not point to recovered alien remains or ships.

"What's being surfaced isn't crashed ships or alien bodies, but real unexplained phenomena," Isaacman told Fox News Digital in an interview Friday.

The disclosures come after the Trump administration released two waves of declassified UAP files as part of a broader transparency effort directing agencies to search internal databases for decades-old reports involving unexplained aerial activity after years of public skepticism surrounding government secrecy and UFO investigations. Officials say additional file releases from agencies including the CIA could soon follow.

Amid surging global interest, an unprecedented gathering of senior government officials and civilians will make a direct plea to the President to declassify specific files and for Congress to pass disclosure-related legislation

As a defining moment in the escalating effort for full disclosure on UAPs, a bipartisan group of high level officials and civilians will convene on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, June 9 @ 1:00 pm to issue a call to action on behalf of the American people.

UAP whistleblower David Grusch, a highly credentialed former intelligence officer who has testified under oath before Congress, will discuss specific UAP and non-human intelligence-related evidence he encountered in deeply classified channels. Grusch will explain why these records should now be reviewed and publicly released consistent with legitimate national security protections.

"President Trump now has an historic opportunity; this press conference is about moving from testimony to action. Let the American people judge the facts for themselves," said Grusch.

DefenseScoop obtained Rep. Eric Burlison's 10-page legislative correspondence, which includes dozens of production requests.

The MITRE Corporation confirmed that insiders are reviewing its archives to comply with a recent production request from Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Mo., who pressed the not-for-profit organization for dozens of assets that would reveal whether it currently has or previously possessed information on unidentified anomalous phenomena and associated unexplained technologies.

Dated May 22 and obtained by DefenseScoop Wednesday, the 10-page correspondence reflects concerns raised by whistleblowers alleging that the Pentagon and defense contractors are deliberately concealing sensitive UAP materials in private networks to bypass congressional and public oversight.

"If any relevant material is found, we will coordinate with the federal agencies responsible for the work to determine how to best provide any assets," a MITRE spokesperson told DefenseScoop.

Federal agencies, the U.S. military and their contractors have a long, complicated legacy handling information about tech and craft that personnel have reported functioning in ways that seem to transcend modern capabilities.

New bodycam footage shows retired Maj. Gen. William Neil McCasland had a dinner meeting with US Space Force members the night before his unexplained disappearance, deepening concerns over experts tied to sensitive programs.

McCasland, central to advanced aerospace and nuclear research, walked out of his Albuquerque home on February 27, 2026, leaving behind his phone, prescription glasses, and wearable tracking devices. He took his wallet, a .38-caliber revolver with holster, and a red backpack. Despite extensive searches in the rugged Sandia Mountains foothills with FBI assistance, no trace has been found, and a Silver Alert remains active.

The newly surfaced video obtained by the Law&Crime Network captures officers interviewing a witness who dined with McCasland the night prior. The woman, connected through the Kirtland Partnership nonprofit, described a dinner meeting involving McCasland and US Space Force members around 6pm in Albuquerque.

Bizarre videos from President Trump's latest batch of UFO disclosure files led to a host of speculation about the phenomenon's origins — with some insisting they're proof of biblical legends, while others dismissed them as little more than balloons or lens flares.

Comments flooded social media comparing the wacky videos to angels and demons after they were released Friday, and some online posters claimed they were winged creatures and fiery wheels that appeared in the likes of the Book of Ezekiel.

Among the most intriguing videos was one filmed over a body of water in June 2020, which captured a shapeshifting blob apparently hovering near a US military installation.

The CIA has been accused of gaining secret access to the DNA information of millions of people as the intelligence agency allegedly searches for alien life on Earth.

Jason Reza Jorjani, a philosophy PhD and science fiction writer, recently claimed that he spoke with a retired US Army sergeant who served as a 'psychic spy' and knew of the government's secret program to hunt down individuals with extraterrestrial DNA.

Jorjani said on the American Alchemy podcast that the CIA, the nation's premier foreign intelligence agency, has a backdoor program that allows it to search through genetic testing companies such as 23andMe and Ancestry.com.

According to the author, the purpose is to look for individuals who have DNA ancestry tied to a race of aliens known as the Nordics, who allegedly look like extremely tall humans from Scandinavia, with blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin.

Joe Rogan Discusses Aliens Abducting Americans in National Parks

Joe Rogan and David Paulides
Joe Rogan has revisited theories about mysterious disappearances in U.S. national parks — including the possibility of alien abductions — during a wide-ranging conversation about unsolved missing persons cases and UFO encounters.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, author and investigator David Paulides claimed the National Park Service had blocked some of his efforts to obtain records tied to disappearances in remote wilderness areas.

Paulides also discussed several cases he believes remain unexplained — including the disappearance of 14-year-old Stacy Arras in Yosemite National Park more than four decades ago.
