An amateur photographer has captured what appears to be an "uncanny" glowing disc hovering in the sky

Ahmad Zaigham photographed the unidentified object from his home in South Harrow, North West London.

Mr Zaigham, 30, said: "I was immersed in the TV programme when just by chance I saw this uncanny light in the sky and I was instantly mesmerised."

The computer engineer was able to take one shot of the object whilst it was stationary for a few seconds. He said: "Then it moved rapidly up and above at incredible speed, a comparable speed to a fighter jet at full power, so fast that panning the camera in the direction was impossible."

US: Four bell-shaped UFOs appear in Maryland photo

A Maryland witness is reporting some odd bell-shaped objects in the sky that appeared in a photo taken April 5, according to a report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Three of the objects were silver, the witness stated, and one was black.

The witness said he did not observe these objects with the naked eye, but only discovered them after browsing the images later.

The bell-shaped UFO account does pop up occasionally in reports, although not quite as often as disc or triangular-shaped objects. The most famous case of a bell, or acorn-shaped object, was the UFO that fell from the sky in what appeared by multiple witnesses to be a controlled landing on Dec. 9, 1965, in a wooded area in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania. The Kecksburg object, as we know, was retrieved by the military that same night and, with armed guards standing by, moved out of the area under a tarp on a flatbed truck.

No official analysis of that object was ever released by the U.S. government, although many ufologists have tried to get beyond the weather balloon theory.

Since there has been some renewed interest in the Bigfoot community in the following photograph, I thought I should post it again.

What is shown in this image? Where was it taken? By whom? When? Of what?

After all, there are so many more eyes here than there was when this first appeared, perhaps someone can source this one.

Scotland: Strange lights in the sky above Alloway?

A mysterious sight was spotted in the skies above Burns' birthplace on Saturday night.

An Alloway reader tells us she saw 11 orange-coloured lights in a clear starry sky.

She was so intrigued by what she saw from inside her house, that she went outside to confirm her eyes weren't deceiving her.

Our reader tells us: "It was about 10pm on Saturday, April 4 and the lights moved slowly from the west until they disappeared about three minutes later.

Villagers report strange sightings in the night sky above a Mid Beds village

A mysterious light was spotted in the skies above Dunton on Sunday evening.

Residents saw an unidentified orange ball of light at around 10.15pm.

One told the Chronicle: "It seemed to be a sphere containing glowing flame, orange or yellow like a sun.

"But it wasn't a meteor or comet, it wasn't travelling fast enough and had no tail.

An unidentified flying object was spotted in the night sky above Whitehaven Rugby League Club last Saturday.

Trevor Palmer, who runs Ultimate Sounds mobile disco, was holding a charity race night at the venue when he and another man went outside at 8.45pm.

As they were chatting, Trevor looked up and saw five orange orbs all moving in a perfect 'W' formulation.

"There was no explanation for it,'' he said. "The lights were about 400-500ft in the sky, evenly spaced and there wasn't any noise.'' He said there wasn't any wind and the lights were moving at speed, which could eliminate Chinese lanterns as an explanation.

US: Kansas man, son 'scared' by low flying UFO

A Kansas man and his teenage son watched as a bright orange object moved silently at a tree line level - between 50 to 75 feet off of the ground, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The man described the April 4 object as looking like "it had a net over the top of it."

"Just above the orange light something was visible but not lit up and this was what appeared to have a huge net over it," the man stated. "You could see something under the net. The only way to describe it is like a huge mobile home in the sky with the back of it having large bright orange lights brighter than any light I have ever seen."

Another low-flying cylinder-shaped UFO was spotted over Pennsylvania again - this time near New Bethlehem on April 2, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Ufologist Stan Gordon reported on a Feb. 3, 2009, case where the object description, height and distance were very similar.

The witness report includes this description: "The object seemed to be black / gray in color and looked like a large cylinder. It was like a plane fuselage but not smooth...it seemed like someone had crummpled up aluminum foil then tried to smooth it out again (crinkled), although it had some smooth areas. There was a pinkish light at the top and bottom and it remained stationary like this for nearly 5 minutes."

A Florida witness watched as a cylinder-shaped neon green fireball moved across the sky over a 4-5 second period on April 7, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

In other UFO traffic news this week from MUFON, a New York witness wants help identifying an image he found after downloading them to his computer - is this April 5 photograph a cloud or something else? In Colorado on April 6, a disc-shaped object that was apparently morphing in shape was spotted. A fireball streaked across the sky over Montana on April 6, and just when the witnesses were reacting in awe over seeing what they assumed was a meteor, the object shot back up into the sky. A glowing orb hovered over a California home on March 25. A father and son in California on April 6 watched a "clear" object with two, sometimes three lights, forming a triangle and whizzing toward downtown LA. And finally, a strobing light at about 2,000 feet over Lakewood, Colorado, just "vanished" from sight.
