England: Growling Noise Heard At Ware 'Devil Tower' By Fleeing Pensioners

Sinister growling has once again been heard at an abandoned church tower in Thundridge, near Ware, which has legends of ghostly goings on and devil worship.

A week after another report of the unexplained sound, Hoddesdon pensioners Ann and Leonard Crump heard the "menacing" noise, which they claim was a warning to stay away from the site, off Cold Christmas Lane.

Legend has it the circa 1100 tower's unorthodox alignment caused tragedy and bad luck for the village in days gone by.

Today (Thursday) Most Haunted fan Ann, 63, of Crossfield Road, told the Herald: "We went along there yesterday my husband and myself, I'm in my 60s and he's in his 70s. I do believe in things but I put it in my mind to be sceptical.

UK: Southampton UFO enthusiast baffled by lights floating above the skyline

It's the latest in a long line of extraterrestrial activity across Hampshire. Two new videos have surfaced on the Internet of unidentified mystery objects hovering above the Southampton skyline.

The bright lights were shot from a house in Hedge End by a UFO enthusiast who wished to remain anonymous. He said: "I'm still having trouble trying to work out what they are myself, they are in a fixed position to start and then you clearly see the two lights moving apart."

A Selkirk housewife spotted a flying saucer last week and came forward to tell The Wee Paper following an earlier sighting in the Ettrick Valley, writes Sally Gillespie.

We reported how waitress Pauline Hemsley had woken to see a big bright light in the hills outside her window. She then appealed to anyone else who saw anything to come forward.

Margaret Hermiston, 54, answered the call after a similar close encounter.

And we have also received reports of strange lights in the sky over Galashiels.

A UFO has been spotted hoovering over the East Lancs in St Helens - nightshift worker Michael Simpson, 31, took these snaps using his mobile phone camera.

He was cycling home at around 4.30am travelling on the Liverpool-bound carriageway when he was stopped in his tracks by the object, which he estimates to be flying at around 300ft.

US: UFOs On The Rise In Bucks County, Pennsylvania

Doylestown - Residents in a Bucks County town have their eyes on the sky after a recent rash of U.F.O. sightings.

Star watchers have their cameras trained on the air above Bucks County as a large number of residents have reported numerous strange lights and bizarre shapes hovering in the area.

Joseph Vigilante says he recently caught glimpse of a U.F.O. above his Doylestown store, The Bagel Barrel.

"It looked most like a star except for the rapidly changing color to it and it was far brighter than any other star in the sky," he said.
