Black Friday: Republican leadership takes axe to UFO transparency legislation

Multiple sources have told Liberation Times that the Schumer-Rounds Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Disclosure Act is under severe threat from Republican leaders within the U.S. House and Senate.

Liberation Times has learned that this week, two influential Republicans, namely Rep. Mike Rogers, Chair of the House Armed Services Committee, and Rep. Mike Turner, Chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, have escalated their efforts to eliminate the UAP Disclosure Act from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2024.

The two representatives have successfully garnered support from Senate Minority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell and the new Speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Johnson, who are now backing their endeavors to either remove or significantly weaken the UAP Disclosure Act.

The news came during the Thanksgiving holiday when representatives and senators were at home with their families. It comes two years after the Department of Defense and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence thwarted extensive UAP language proposed by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Marco Rubio.

It is understood that the four powerful Republicans are prepared to 'compromise' by amending language contained in the Act, although that would involve stripping it of its key provisions and crippling the Act of any meaningful power.

UFO whistleblower who claims the US government has recovered crashed craft says humans have been visited for 'thousands of years'

A former US intelligence officer turned UFO whistleblower claims the government has recovered remains of multiple different types of non-human biological "entities" from crashed craft — and hinted that there may have been "interactions" with living beings.

David Grusch, an Air Force veteran and former member of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Tuesday where made a series of sensational new claims.

Asked by Rogan how many biological entities he was talking about, Mr Grusch said there was "a variety, and we have a ... certain number of different things".

"But the total numbers of what's interacting with us on earth, I mean nobody knows that," he said.

"I talk to people who are familiar with the biological analysis and everything. So we have some idea, not a complete picture because it's like, you know, you're looking at it, it's like, well I don't even understand the physiology at all, it's like what the heck, it's way different."

Disclosure and national security: Should the US govt reveal what it knows about UAP?

Imagine you were just elected President of the United States. During one of your first classified briefings, you learn that the US military has recovered advanced extraterrestrial technology. You are told we've made only modest headway in understanding how this technology works, where it is from, or why these intelligently controlled machines are here. What would you do in that circumstance?

As President, your top priority is to keep the American people safe from all threats, both foreign and domestic. Hundreds of millions of people, including tens of millions of children, place their faith in you. Are you going to hold a press conference revealing that aliens are visiting planet Earth, but we don't know where they're coming from, why they are here, or whether we can defend ourselves from them?

It is hard for me to imagine any of the politicians I've worked for over the years leaping at that opportunity. The sudden, unexpected confirmation of an ET presence on Earth would not only unsettle but inevitably terrify millions — if not billions — of people. And for what purpose? What chance would you have as President of moving forward on other vital issues on your agenda, given the tumult that would result? What reason is there to believe the net effect for society would be positive rather than negative?

These are questions that need to be addressed by those advocating the release of information confirming an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Such information has the potential to be a genuine Pandora's box, and it is, therefore, vital we think this through carefully before proceeding.

Retired US Army Colonel says secret UFO projects should be made public by October 2030 - to beat America's rivals and get ahead of a 'catastrophic' leak

Nearly two decades ago, a think-tank in Washington D.C. invited past and present government officials from the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Pentagon and elsewhere to debate the risks of revealing the truth about UFOs.

The 2004 event — according to a former CIA scientist who went public with the shocking story Friday — broke into working groups to weigh the positive and negative ramifications of declassifying America's top secret UFO programs.

Every working group according to that scientist, Dr. Hal Puthoff, came back with the same conclusion: the societal risks of UFO 'disclosure' were just too great.

But now, a host of Washington insiders are calling for a strategic 'campaign' to drag these alleged UFO reverse-engineering programs out into public view.

The pivot emerged this weekend at an invite-only conference of former government officials, tenured physicists and other academic researchers, activists and reporters, held at Stanford University and attended by DailyMail.com.

Vannevar Bush quotes Truman's 1947 reaction to Forrestal

Ufology is a topic where essentially anything that can plausibly be said about the phenomenon, correctly or incorrectly, has been said. Newfound nuggets of information come down the pipe all the time. Most people can't be bothered to give them the time of day because the credibility of the information is uncertain, at least without rigorous research. So the valuable part of this patchwork of information actually comes from identifying the provenance of any piece of information, rather than the piece of information itself. This post adds fresh evidence to the provenance, and content of, one particularly fateful alleged meeting.

Pt. 1: September 24th, 1947, The White House

To appreciate this post, the reader will need at least a passing familiarity with the Majestic-12 documents and therefore what Majestic-12 represents in ufology. The document in question here is: https://majesticdocuments.com/pdf/truman_forrestal.pdf, (and reinforced by this subsequent document) Document Summary: September 24th, 1947 marks the start of using the name Majestic Twelve, in which Vannevar Bush and James Forrestal will be active members.

Remember, the authenticity of the above two, and any/all of the rest of the Majestic documents is not guaranteed. Increasing confidence in any of them relies on looking at corroborated external sources.

Therefore the central question is, are any of the Majestic documents authentic even allowing that some forgeries could be inserted among them to sour the milk? It's a question that preoccupied the late famed UFO researcher Stanton Friedman, and the compilers of the majesticdocuments.com website, Robert and Ryan Wood.

One of history's giants, Vannevar Bush, is central to the Majestic documents. Yet even without subscribing to their authenticity, (indeed before I knew he was referenced in the Majestic documents), I recognized from the nuclear establishment + UFOs angle that he, among others, would almost certainly have been read-in.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Sunday, had received information about an unidentified flying object near the Imphal airport. Soon after that, the AF appointed two of it's Rafale fighter jets for the search operation.

According to the media reports, the unidentied flying object in question was spotted around 2:30 pm on Sunday, which had also resulted in delayed operations of few of the commercial flights.

Defence sources were quoted in a report by ANI, 'Soon after information about the UFO near the Imphal airport was received, a Rafale fighter aircraft from a nearby airbase was scrambled to go and search for the UFO'.

Shock UFO footage captures moment bright object hurtles across the sky as NASA launches probe

minnesota fireball

The sonic boom was concluded to be too close to be considered a meteor.

An unexplained incident has concerned Nasa and locals in the area, with some wondering if this could be an alien sighting.

On Monday, residents in Minnesota witnessed a bright object flying across the sky, following a loud bang that rattled their homes.

Comment: Since "It is undetermined if the two videos are related," could it be there were two unrelated events happening at roughly the same time?

Why do UFO sightings keep happening near nuclear sites?

Encounters is now streaming on Netflix.

The Enmyoin Temple in the Fukushima prefecture of Japan is now known colloquially by a different name, said its Chief Monk, Tomonori Izumi: "The Miracle Temple."

"I don't know if it was some god or some powerful being in a UFO, but I believe that some invisible power really did come to save us," said Izumi.

On March 11 2011, the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant was the site of one of the worst nuclear disasters ever after an earthquake and subsequent tsunami caused its electrical grid to fail. The simultaneous disasters laid waste to much of the surrounding area, but "miraculously, the temple was untouched."

"The UFO's came after the explosion. There were so many of them. I was shocked," said the monk in the fourth episode of the VICE Studio's Netflix docuseries series Encounters: "Lights Over Fukushima."

"Radioactive energy was leaking everywhere. I believe the UFOs came to readjust the flood of radioactive energy in order to save us. That's my theory, anyway," said Izumi.

Just like after the Fukushima disaster, UFO's have been documented repeatedly around places where humans have spawned nuclear activity. There are "very clear connections" between UFO sightings and nuclear sights "going back decades," said author Dr. Jensine Andresen.

UK: Woman spots two 'UFOs' in Stockport including one resembling the US Navy's white 'tic tac'

The two objects were seen over separate nights in the first week of October

Bizarre aerial objects are usually considered an American phenomena, but new imagery shows two over the north of England.

A 'concerned citizen', who wishes not to be named, has described sightings of the unidentified flying objects (UFOs) from her back garden in Stockport.

The first, described as looking like a square or triangle, had a hazy appearance and was changing shape and 'darting around the sky'. Meanwhile, the second object - a much brighter white in colour and 'shaped like a Tic Tac' - kept vanishing and reappearing.

One of the most famous and unusual UFOs to date, spotted by the US Navy in 2004, was the floaty white oblong similar to the breath mint.

Are aliens real? We asked the Pentagon's outgoing UFO chief

Sean Kirkpatrick

Sean Kirkpatrick is not done talking about UFOs.

For nearly 18 months, he's been the first head of the Pentagon's fledgling office tasked with investigating what the government calls "unidentified anomalous phenomena," which military pilots have increasingly reported seeing in the skies.

Kirkpatrick set up an entire system for collecting data, waded through hundreds of reported UFO sightings and batted down whistleblower claims that the government covered up a program to reverse-engineer alien craft. And don't forget the Chinese spy balloon episode.

In an interview with POLITICO Magazine, he talked about why he's stepping down in December and how he sought to "institutionalize the solution for getting at the heart of these anomalies." The Pentagon has a real interest in deciphering the sharp rise in unidentified crafts spotted by military pilots; if these aren't aliens, they could be foreign adversaries posing incredibly new threats.

Comment: No one is buying the Kirkpatrick AARO dog and pony show. They are pretending this is a new problem to solve. They did all this already in the 1950s, and they're pretending it never happened.

Kirkpatrick, 55, was perhaps the perfect person to lead what's formally known as the Defense Department's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, which was established in July 2022. A physicist who spent decades working in the defense-intelligence arena, he's open to the possibility that we're not alone in the universe, having co-authored a hotly-debated paper about alien motherships. But his bottom line is to focus on the science.
